$865 MILLION: Powerball jackpot reaching historic levels
Big news Mega news Life altering news I did ...., not ......, win tonight! Can you believe it? Back to my liverwurst on rye with red onion arugula tomato with Dijon mustard ..... and two gherkin pickles on the side. Every time I don't win I have this sandwich to eat. It's a ShagE3 tradition! P.U.: who cut the cheese .. ? I'm looking for a slice or two of Swiss for my aforementioned sandwich. The question now is ..... Powerball ...... Will there be a bump on the ja

Mega Millions and Powerball offer $1.11 billion in combined lottery jackpots
No one wants these huge jackpots. You may think you do but it is too much money to be responsible for Some people earn 30K a year and are not responsible. It's not about the amount, it's about values and information and knowledge. I can do way more good with 600M than I can do with 1M. I would definitely welcome the reduction in the Matrix and better odds. Hundred of millions of dollars sitting in some investment firms coffers after you win it benefits no one. I am not

Other Systems besides Pick 3,4 etc.
I'm in agreement with the odds are lowest of any game. It also the least expensive game. Years prior you would see more jackpot game systems in that forum, but that passed for several reasons. Primarily because people realized if hey had a winning system (a system that won jackpots) sharing it would be taking money out of their pocket. With say, $200,000 payout, and 3 or 4 winners, that jackpot doesn't seem so sweet. And the national games seem more geared to deep pockets and large g

$1.2 BILLION: Powerball jackpot is 3rd-largest in game history
This week lottery players across the United States will be pulling out all the stops to try and win Powerball, featuring one of the largest lottery jackpots in history, worth an estimated $1.2 billion. Please, please, don't pull out all the stops to try and win. Just be a rational human, see the odds and just buy one ticket. Don't get sucked into the hype. Your brain is going to tell you this is your moment well, the brain of 100 million other people is telling them just about the same

Florida winner of $1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot steps forward to claim prize
I was a bit curious on the 90 day anonymity FL law and if the state posted name automatically or it had to be done through a FOI records request. So using LP 's anonymity posting it lead me to the FL lottery sight stating, Beginning May 25, 2022, the names of Lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure (pursuant to F.S.24.1051(3)(a)) for 90 days from the date the prize is claimed, unless otherwise waived by the winner I went to th

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
Your problem, as I see it, is you can't find a way to win lotteries using Probability Math. Hackers/lottery officials are to blame for your losing ways. You criticize anyone who doesn't agree with you. You won't listen to any suggestions or advice from those who have had some success in winning because they are just (in your words) haters. So, keep yo FeElOsSoPhY to yoself..!! I think we both know that'll never happen. Here's some more for you: To me, you are a classic case of where

Commentaries on reptilian brain chances are' gambling in lotteries
If it takes 10 seconds to fill out a Powerball [or] Mega Millions ticket, and you spent 12 hours a day filling out two-dollar tickets, every day of the year, it would take 90 years and nearly $300 million to have a 50% chance of winning the jackpot. Another example: If you bought one ticket every day of the year, it would take you 400,000 years to have a 50% chance of winning, Williams says, adding one more example to put things in perspective: The Powerball [or] Mega Millions lottery is si
