Two $31 million Mega Millions lottery jackpots won in Massachusetts in one week
MA spends a ton of money on marketing and advertising the lottery. Also, if people dug into the statistics, including number of tickets sold, they would see that MA was/is overdue for some jackpot and/or 2nd place (match 5 numbers) winners on both Powerball and Mega Millions. The statistics are simply reverting back to the mean. Unfortunately, the jackpot winners ended up winning at the lower end of the spectrum of prize amounts. Either way, if they're smart they'll be set for life.

Ireland Lottery advertising claims under scrutiny
Who were the Einsteins that negotiated the sale of the 20-year National Lottery licence, on behalf of the Irish Government? The committee said it noted that under the terms of the lottery licence, unclaimed prize money should be used solely for the promotion of the National Lottery, with the proviso that the promotion includes the funding of special draws and additional top-up prizes; and which may include incremental marketing and advertising of the National Lottery and/or Lottery Games .

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Yep it sure looked that way, with the $2 Money Multiplier having come out instead. The marketing is sloppy, as the initial pic of the new $50 Spectacular displayed a different top prize count that what the game eventually had. In the pic about the $10 game looks interesting in that more double ticket cost min win games seem more prevalent lately, as the pic of the ticket shows min win is $20.

Massachusetts lottery and it's success
How is Massachusetts able to run one of the most successful and well managed lottery in the nation. I think, per capita, its residents play at a higher percentage than most states and win more prizes. I guess it doesn't hurt when two neighboring states' (Rhode Island and New Hampshire) residents come to your state to play as well. It's surprising there aren't that many high profile jackpot winners for national games considering the number of players on average. Pretty cool and all but not sure i

$1.05 BILLION: Mega Millions keeps rolling after no winner Friday
one could buy MM and PB online in IL, but I think the system should send buyer a confirmation email to validate the purchase or else their web admin could log on and mess around with your account. I thought someone is going to win the jackpot with those nicely distributed numbers (right down QP algo's alley). for marketing purpose, MM people should raise the jackpot to $1.081 to make it the sixth largest jackpot ever.
