Indiana legislator attacks computerized lottery drawings
Quote: Originally posted by MillionsWanted on February 4, 2005I prefer to see the drawings take place on TV so I know how the numbers got picked. However, if I knew the computer draws could be trusted, I think it would be easier to predict numbers drawn from a computer than from a lottery ball machine.A computer will NEVER be totally random. It might be possible for a neural network to find pattern in a lottery where a computer has chosen the numbers. Something to consider for those who live in a

Green Candle System
sleepingdogslieExcuse me if I practice a bit of Neural Networking on this. I'm a newbie at this so bear with me. (Apparently it's acceptable for Neural Net-workers to decide in advance whether something is Neural Net-workable with the notable exception of the Neural Network itself.)Here goes:1 Does it work with other colored candles?2 If the Candle snuffs it do you have to start the 7 Day Cycle again?3 How many is some?4 How large is money ?5 Are the winnings proportional to the time spent in f

Neural Networks- Applicable to Lottery?
I never had to get past backtesting with this... I kept detailed records, and the numbers picked were almost identical to the excel forecast function, no better, no worse... time to throw NN's on the back burner... but I must say, RAPID development is one very cool plus of the Java based JOONE engine ;-)Data Mining... Neural network based classification has failed on several automated attempts, using both my own modified formulas (on open source excel VBA programs) and using several demo version

Neural Networks- Applicable to Lottery?
Interesting stuff so far... Still not exactly sure of what is needed, but apparently it's not an Autoassociative NN... In those, if the pattern presented is recognised, it just echoes the pattern back.I have read some interesting intro articles on 2 closely related A.I. methodologies... Genetic Algorithms and Simulated Annealing (both built into JOONE BTW)... they seem to be better than back propagation because they avoid the local minima trap. This won't be an over-nighter... Combining weight ma

Fancy Quickpick
What is fancy quickpick? just a fancy way of picking numbers. I wrote a simple program that uses neural network to generate next draws numbers based on current draw numbers. Things that won't increase my odds: electricity they feed to the machine varies based on people's electricity usage at that time so it's not constant. they replace/remove the balls and use a different set after/before each draw. Things that MIGHT increase my odds: there might be an average electricity cu

Markov Chain and Neural Network for lottery numbers
I first wondered what this neural network is. I found no explanation of what it did and how it worked. I studied Markov chain in the chapter of matrices. I also found no explanation for that program. The website was removed of the free ASP hosting server (by himself or did it expire?). Did anyone here decompile the programs?

Markov Chain and Neural Network for lottery numbers
Thanks. According to the stackexchange the answer given says The neural network could be trained to find certain patterns in the history of random numbers generated by a PRNG to predict the next bit. Isn't that what we wanted?

Markov Chain and Neural Network for lottery numbers
The author of that thread, Stoopendaal, hasn't visited this site in almost 6 years and nobody on that (currently) 132-page thread has ever found the right settings to make his program print money. There are also some concerns the program is malware. Since neural networks cannot predict random numbers (see this resource for experts' explanations https://ai.stackexchange.com/questions/3850/can-a-neural-network-be-used-to-predict-the-next-pseudo-random-number ) that program can't be anything more t

Neural Net Lottery Picker
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum!! Only a couple of days ago I discovered the forum together with the great lottery neural network software, the truth is that I am quite confused with so much variety of software, I am only a player of lottery 649. Thank you if someone can recommend me which software works better for this lottery 649. I'm sorry if my English is not very good. A greeting to all and thank you very much. ;)

how to create neural networks to discover positional patterns in lottery?
OK! raven, you are correct in your neural network definition, cottoney, the objective is to find patterns and not numbers in the lottery, patterns in which in a month or more the forecasts are aligned on a bet, through the frequencies in each position, it will be hard work
