I've been in that Beneva Road Publix a time or two but never won anything buying scratch offs or online games for that matter. From a volume of ticket sales standpoint, Publix is definitely the place to buy because they're largest lottery retailer in Florida. No retailer in Florida sells more lottery tickets than Pubix. Hi LS, when I read your initial post I originally thought the toss scenario was unlikely, esp as it's a crossword so with so many words hitting it would become very apparent to the player that they have a winning ticket. I did look at it on the Idaho Lottery website and saw there was a spot to match a symbol for a win and wondered if that could be involved, perhaps someone forgetting to scratch it or just missing the match. LOL. That's some great luck for sure. I mean, it's highly improbable that whoever owns the store now would've scratched the ticket and given it to the owner to cash in lol. Does anyone know how one can become Lottery retailer? If they can setup shop at a Flea Market booth it can't be that hard.

What store owner in Orlando has won that you used to play at? I'm curious how one can become a lottery ticket retailer as I have seen some in some obscure places, like a booth at a flea market, a dollar store and a chinese restaurant.

I spoke to someone at the lottery office that said they are changing the way we get paid, instead of cash at a retailer Like Publix, Winn Dixie etc., it will be a debit card. I am not happy about that at all. She also said a new 30.00 ticket is coming out this year and in February a new 50.00 ticket. She also mentioned the raffle is coming back. I don't want a 500.00 debit card, I want the cash so we will see how this all shakes out.

CA $400 Million Money Mania ($30)
CA Lotto website claims three top prize $10M tickets still available. I went to 30 stores and ONE retailer had them. There is no way. Is CA really this shady compared to other states? Thanks.

It's distinctly possible the top prize has been sold. I'm leaning toward the accidentally tossed scenario and this is why. There are two Idaho lottery phone scanning apps that are unreliable. I have had both of them scan a ticket as not a winner and then gone back to a retailer scanned them again and found $100 winners. The reason I started doing that was I have had more then one retailer tell me that the phone apps miss winners AS DO the little scanners available to the public at the counter! I

Great info, Dracos...thanks for the retailer info. I'm pondering something. I saw 1490 announced as ending on the FL Lotto website, so was wondering if that's a tacit admission that any remaining top prizes are gone? I've seen similar activity with previous games. Either way I see that the #2 game 1491 is also with a final remaining win unclaimed but still going strong. Either way hope all is going well and best of luck.

Bad Luck Retailer??
Today I had a small winning scratcher and was near a convenience store that I could run in easily without the crowds of the usual places I go to. But then I had this feeling, Oh I don't want to go there because I've never won anything whenever I've bought tickets. I figured that was a while ago, give it another shot!
