If the Lottery was Honest
Have you always bought Quick Picks and never played any of your own sets? I realize you are playing PB/MM I Agree that the odds on QP vs Self Pick are the same. Just curious.... But if you're talking P3 or P4 a lot of folks study patterns and play a lot of their own combos, and a lot of them are quite successful. Would you ever do any workouts for P3/P4 or play QP's on those as well?

Quickpics MegaMillions: Lottery Post vs Terminal
I just completed another Lottery Post vs Terminal study in which I played Lottery Post quick picks along side of terminal quick picks and here are the results. The average number of white balls matched per drawing for the Lottery Post quick picks was 0.6 while for the Lottery Terminal, it was 0.35 making it appear for matching numbers, Lottery Post might have an advantage. The median for Lottery Post was 0.5 and for the Terminal, it was 0. The Mode, most common number of matches, was 0 for b

Quick Picks - How do you use them?
Fascinating..!! I liken yo patient xsperiment to listening to a Singer sing only a couple of phrazez or musical notez of a Song over and over..then hearing someone sing the same Song, but which includez ALL the notez of the Melody, and maybe even a few ad-lib phrazez thrown in, making use of an ENTIRE Musical Scale. The difference in rezultz in yo xample would be akin to the Applauze given the Singer that used MORE notez of the Musical Scale ( which are following Lawz of Music) ..Summary

Backtesting for Beginners
First off, you should be inclined to the task of keeping your own recording of your States/Country's game. Having a Gold or Platinum account here will also fare you well so you can collect at least a years worth of drawing results to check against. For instance, in the image below I use an MSExcel workbook to record Ohio's daily pick 3 draw games side by side. If I want to back test any idea or theory (and there are plenty here on LP) I have the set up to do it by organizing the draw res

It would be a hard case to prove in a court. what is the best preparation to deal with the statistical universe of lotteries?
hello garyo, this accumulation only works in 4 quadrants, but you can divide it into 11 mini quadrants of 4 numbers each so we have 4 positions within each mini quadrant, as we have 6 numbers drawn in the worst condition always there will be two repeated positions, and there may be more, can you do a study on this? ex= 01 02 11 12 A B C D 4 POSITIONS

what is the best preparation to deal with the statistical universe of lotteries?
Mathematician claims probability CAN predict lottery numbers more likely to be drawn (but you may need a mathematics degree to work them out) Renato Gianella says it is possible to predict winning lottery numbers Theory is based on patterns as predicted by Law of Large Numbers Brazilian claims not all numbers have equal chance of being drawn He's developed website to help people select more favorable combinations But users may need more than basic mathematics to understand how

Because the hottest number in a lottery doesn't mean it will come in the next draw?
I recently started to use a hit skip chart to study patterns and trends for each number in the OH 5/39 game. As you'll see, it's all pretty much random, with no way to really know when a number will go hot, warm, or cold. This chart can help in spotting trends, which may help reduce the number inventory to choose from. However, we still have the timing issue of knowing when a number will stay in its current HWC status, or move on to a new HWC status. Below is a cutout for numbers 1 - 9.
