Playing Quick Picks Versus Picking Your Own Numbers
GiveFive, I'm not disagreeing that repeats happen (more often than you think). I don't know about NY Take 5. I grabbed it since it is a 5/39 for the state the OP was posting from. And I agree we need to study the game before jumping in. I based my thoughts off the Texas 4/35 tracking all draws as if they were winners. Since 2001 there are 11215 draws with 10153 unique sets meaning we have 1062 repeats. So Texas 435 is 9.4 % repeats (1062/11215). If you extrapolate that you could expe

Quick Picks - How do you use them?
This is an old post regarding the self pick vs quick pick experiments I mentioned in my previous post. A few years ago, I did an experiment using Louisiana Lotto in which I played two lines, one a set of of numbers I picked and played over and over, and one quickpick. Over the course of the drawings, I found the random quickpick actually had a slight edge over playing the same set of numbers every drawing(average number of balls matched 0.714 for the self pick and 0.971 for the quickpic

Quick Picks vs Self Picks, neither has an advantage
I find that happens when I buy multiple lines of quickpicks that not only bonus numbers, but there are repeats of other numbers too. I think if you're going to buy multiple lines of quickpicks, it's good to pick your own numbers so more numbers of the matrix are covered increasing the chance of matching something. I few years ago, I did an experiment using Louisiana Lotto in which I played two lines, one a set of of numbers I picked and played over and over, and one quickpick. Over the cou

Backtesting for Beginners
1. Get a previous draw 2. Create the data you want to look for. In this case, I used a TTT workout based on the lakerben system, Cash Cow . 3. Determine how many draws forward you want to check the data against for winners. In this case, I am just looking at the very next draw only. The results show a straight hit among the 27 plays in the L to R section. In this case it s squares #7, #2, #3 of the TTT block that produced a winning straight combo. There is also straight hit inside the

How to get the date sum
You could add the time. Using a spreadsheet, put the date and the time in one or two cells. Make of it what you like. You can do: =value(date) , or you change the format. NL: ctrl+; ctrl+: 7/05/2022 13:47 44688 7/05/2022 13:47 value(date) A1+B1 I prefer: 2022-05-07 13:47 You can study all the functions with date and their formats. Most chaotic format is: month/day/year that is like writing minute second hour

What if I said the pick 3 only has 35 numbers?
Wentworth, I shared some info on my blog here: https://blogs.lotterypost.com/winpick3 That may be a good place to start and get a better understanding. That will lead you into the list in this post. From my perspective and how I play, the lottery in pick 3 only uses 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. That's it! Think of it like this, the lottery says there's 1,000 numbers, and while that may be true, in my research and how I track and look at these numbers - that's not true. Because
