Winning number theory
Regarding your last paragraph about wheeling not being mentioned in the Pick 3, I don't think it matters because wheeling happens to be omnipresent. IMHO, the World of the Pick 3 in itself is a self-contained wheel . By extension every technique, method or system applied to it will always express some aspect of wheeling. I've never seen a technique be immune to this and so the cutting, splicing, arithmetic, rundowns, touch-patterns, percentages, mysticism, digit-play, probability/odds, digit

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
Stack, I gave it a quick look. If we just count the times the winning numbers come out in the pre-test, box or straight like in the yellow, there were 7 between July 12 and December 27, 2000. (Pre-tests are not available before July that year on the Texas site). I didn't bother counting the times the winning number came out in the pretest prior like in the blue. Or how many times it came out sometime during that week. The orange and green just shows what happens if you play tic-tac-toe wit

What Game Got You Started Playing the Lottery?
What got me started playing was a $2 scratcher here in GA called Mad Money. It was July 2nd, 2004, a few months after I graduated high school. I was at the local fair (for the July 4th holiday) playing those machines where you drop quarters in, they fall, and a thing pushes quarters and prizes toward you (and eventually fall). I gave up on those (after having no luck) and we went to a store, where I decided to use the rest of the dough I had for playing and bought lottery tickets (something I ha

LP members and lottery beliefs
The big difference between creating a lottery beating system and creating a heavier-than-air craft that flies is that the wright's experiments could be reproduced. Flight could be achieved again and again. It could now be not only fully explained by mathematics and physics, but performance can be predicted with high levels of accuracy. If flying today yielded the same attempt-to-success ratio of even the best current lottery system, nobody would fly! Each leap forward built on the others. hyper

1st time caller, long time listener
Yes, that's right. I've been reading the LP forums for some time now, been watching/comparing member predictions...etc. I thought it was about time I joined this forum. It's almost like I know the regulars just from following their threads.I have only begun to play the lottery with any type of method recently. Fortunately, I have hit the Ohio pick 4 three times, once straight on 1609 on 1/11/05. Yes, I have lotto pro 2004, but I use it strictly for stat. purposes only. I also use the tic-tac-t

N.J. Second Chance Million Dollar Replay Entry Deadline is 8/3
Hi Boney526, I really don't think that you need to be concerned about any of the eligible tickets being removed from the list. I was concerned about that too, when the drawings first started, but I'm not anymore. It's just my opinion, I wish I could tell you for sure, but I don't see how they could do it and be fair to the players, or to the retailers promoting the drawings. Retailers don't sell tickets at the same pace. I think the first game on the list is Tic-Tac-Toe and that game is still

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
I posted a system making no claims about it and supported by only a month of backtesting in IL. There is nothing wrong with posting any system even it is a dud. Thankfully we only have a couple of LP members that demand proof because if there were many more, it would discourage people from posting their systems. Jimmy backtested it and found that the long-term results were no better than chance. Many systems fall under the spot play category and not intended to work over the history

What's the most everyone has won on a lotto ticket?
I'm new here and I'm starting to like this place. Seems like a nice, friendly place to chat about lotto. What is the most anyone has won on a lottery ticket? Was it on a scratcher or numbers game (e.g. Powerball, Mega Millions, Pick 5/4/3, etc.)? If it was a scratcher, how did you win that prize, if you remember (e.g. $20,000 winner on a $10 ticket with 20 # matches for $1,000, $10,000 winner via a 20X symbol with $500 under it, single number match for a grand prize, etc.)? The most I've e

Are people changing the way they play the lottery?
It really doesn't matter what % they say the payouts are if you aren't getting any of it. Somewhat true I guess, but the same can be said about draw games, because the majority payout % in those go to fund jackpots. Why would you play a game where only 50% is returned to players and 60% of that is paid to one person? Why not play a game where 70% is returned to players and only 10-20% is paid to jackpot winners, yet the top prize is still noteworthy and you win far more often? That's one of
