N.J. paper investigates best and worst places to buy lottery tickets
This New Jersey zip code is probably in a poor neighborhood or area....as for myself, I go on the OUTSKIRTS of any town or city I'm in and play scratch offs, Powerball, Mega... just check out the websites for various lotterys, they ALWAYS hit in the small country not heavily populated towns.. on occasion you'll see a big hit in a big city, it's as if they target certain for larger hits, and that particular local economy benefits from it... or is it just me???????????? it's best to NOT EVER play

Is it possible to remain anonymous in NJ through a trust or attorney?
Believe it or not, NJ is actually one of the best states for lottery winners, because there is no state tax on lottery prizes, only Federal. With regard to your first question about being anonymous, NJ even allows people to search for winners by zip code. There is absolutely no privacy in NJ if you're a big winner. The best thing to do would be to move.

Do you NEED to win the Lottery?
If I NEEDED a win, I am sure I would have found some other use for the last dollar... I play for fun, usually just 1 ticket unless the jackpot hits dream status (for me, cash value in excess of 20 million... PB is there now ;-) )I work and so does Mrs. SoniQ... it would be great to have time together more often, to have nicer things (like a new zip code on the beach in South Carolina in exchange for this dreary PA rural town)... I have been bitten by NAFTA 3 times so far... went from a mach

Preparation for picking up the prize.
That's a good strategy. Better yet, buy a prepaid Tracfone for cash at someplace like WalMart or CirlceK. That's a prepaid cellphone with no contract, no name, address attached to it. You just buy cards with minutes on them as you need them. The phone number is based on ZIP code so in theory, you could have a phone number in another state if you want, which would make it harder to find you.I also plan to move if I win a big jackpot, to a new state where nobody knows me. I also plan to operate on

'Beyond lucky': Woman wins same $1M lottery jackpot twice in 6 months
A good point is made, people should only play the games where the big prizes still remain or better yet the games where there are more top tier prizes in relationship to smaller tier prizes left (based on percentage of course) . I hate the fact that the Illinois Lottery only updates this list once a week. In this age of computers it should be done more than that. I was on the prowl trying to find some Merry Millionaire tickets as there was still a winner out there after 97% sold. The only place
