Why you might go bankrupt if your next-door neighbor wins the lottery
I agree with Golfer. That sample of 13 is insignificant and it looks like they kept reducing the sample size to achieve a predetermined result. I think they wanted publicity for their research. Hopefully someone will redo the study and show it is ridiculous. And yes, I read the study and know that is one zip code but 13 is still too small a sample size.

Why does this petition require your street address and zip code in order to be a valid signature ??? I don't think that should be necessary. Your E-mail address should be enough !! Or, just your state, should be enough !

In my mind absolutely fl lottery would destroy or get rid of winning books, how does 11000 books never make into circulation, if you look at each ticket, it clearly states that the winning or top prizes may be unavailable at the time of purchase due to xxxxxx. yes they pulled a game off the shelf with 54 1 million dollar prizes remaining/ so i put nothing past them. I cant even get a winners report based on zip code from them anymore. I dont think a 100x winner will be had, it will just fade awa

If you google Florida lottery winners by county the first link is a database done by the sun sentinel newspaper that will let you search by county or zip code. I don't have enough post to be able to post the link.

Its funny you posted this, I actually called lottery today and ask if they kept a breakdown of the prizes paid out by zip code, of course they girl (Samantha) said no and was useless, I know they do have such breakdowns because i have received them before. They are controlling where all the tickets are going, if you are not in a select area you are screwed.

I like it as 7350. My zip code in Oklahoma is 73501. I played it in the Georgia 5 and that B-I-ZIP brought the number out but she put the 7 last instead of first. She brought it as 35017 and I didn't get a freaking dime. I will never forget that nor will I ever play the Georgia 5 again. It was August 13, 2013.

Curious about Quick Picks
Has anyone noticed a codes or references when one buys a QP? I've heard some folks say if you get a QP you can eliminate pkaying those numbers on your play slip which I know is bogus I'm just curious if anyone has come up with anything like you can do on a scratch offs by using the zip code when you purchase at your store
