Nebraska Lottery adding Sunday drawings
Starting Nov. 6, 2016, the Nebraska Lottery's in-state lotto games will have drawings Monday through Sunday, seven days a week. Currently the only game in Nebraska to offer Sunday drawings is the multi-state 2by2 game.

N.J. lottery drawing games offline across the state over the weekend
Half of all lottery retailers across New Jersey were not been able to issue any tickets from Friday night through Monday as a result of a technical issue, a state Treasury spokesman confirmed Monday.
The problem was touched off by a scheduled system upgrade Friday, according to an email from Treasury spokesman Chris Santarelli.

NJ Lottery adds 'Xtra' feature to Pick 6 game

New Jersey Lottery players now have the opportunity to increase their non-jackpot prizes by up to five times on the long-time favorite game, Pick 6, with the addition of the new Xtra feature.

S.C. Lottery to honor 2 sets of Pick 3 numbers
The South Carolina Lottery says it will honor two sets of Evening Pick 3 numbers for Tuesday night's drawing.
One set of numbers (3-6-4) was certified by an independent auditor, while another set (3-6-7) was drawn during the evening Pick 3 drawing.

NJ Lottery's Pick 6 has 2 winners after 6-month drought
Until June 16, no Pick-6 player in the New Jersey's Lottery's game had chosen all six winning numbers for 53 straight draws, a span of more than six months.
That winner has not yet come forward to claim a $20.1 million jackpot, which had grown since Dec. 12.

Iowa Lottery no longer sharing Illinois Lottery drawings
State started conducting its own Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings Wednesday
Starting this week, it won't be share and share alike for Iowa Lottery players anymore.
Beginning Wednesday, April 16, Iowa Lottery players finally got their own Pick 3 and Pick 4 lottery numbers. Iowa has been sharing Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers with Illinois since the games were introduced, in 1998 and 2003, respectively.

Kentucky lawmakers won't pursue a 6% tax on lottery tickets as a source of revenue to shore up the state's financially troubled pension system for government retirees.
House Speaker Greg Stumbo said that idea was rejected out of concern that a tax might have stifled sales of lottery tickets that generate money for education programs in Kentucky.

Kentucky Democrats propose taxing lottery tickets
Democratic House leaders want to add a 6 percent sales tax to Kentucky Lottery purchases and expand the selection of lottery games as a way to increase funding for the state's ailing pension system.
House State Government Chairman Brent Yonts, D-Greenville, said adding a 6 percent sales tax on lottery games could generate about $49 million a year for the state. Adding additional games to the lottery could generate an additional $70 million to $90 million, he said.
