The first-ever state lottery raffle will be held later this year to mark the 20th anniversary of legalized lottery games in South Dakota. Lottery Advertising and Public Relations Director Mike Mueller says 100,000 of the $10 tickets will go on sale September 30th. The chairman of the Texas Lottery Commission has asked the state attorney general to study whether it would be legal to add a raffle to its array of games. The Oklahoma Lottery plans to start a television game show and offer an additional multi-state game in hopes of improving lower-than-expected revenues.
