Kansas Lottery is first in the world to offer electronic PushPlay
The Kansas Lottery is the first lottery in the world to offer its players a next generation lottery product called PushPlay. The Lottery is shipping out PushPlay game cards this week to all retailers that have requested them.
PushPlay game cards are instant lottery tickets, but instead of scratching off the tickets, a player uses a reusable electronic player with an LCD screen to display the game. A player will insert or push the card into the player, and then play the game, thus the name Pus

N.C. Pick 4 lottery game starts next week
A new four-digit daily numbers game for the North Carolina Education Lottery will begin next week.
Top prize for the Carolina Pick 4 game starting April 17 will be $5,000. Players can either choose a number or have a sales terminal pick a random number.
The lottery already has the Carolina Pick 3 and Carolina Cash 5 games. North Carolina also participates in the twice-weekly multistate Powerball game.

Arizona Lottery's Cash 4 game starts today
The Arizona Lottery's newest game has its first drawing this evening.
Cash 4 is traditional lotto-style game, with four numbers drawn from a pool of 26 numbers. Players win prizes by matching 2, 3, or all 4 of the numbers drawn on their game ticket.
Tickets for the new game can be purchased between 4 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. every day. Sales resume for the next drawing from 9:35 p.m. until midnight.
Cash 4 drawings are held every Monday through Saturday evening at approximately 10:25 p.m.

Michigan Lottery to offer less-pricey raffle
Paying heed to tough economic times, new Lucky 7 offers players $10 chances at winning up to $700K
Responding to tough economic times, the Michigan Lottery is launching its latest raffle game and you won't see a $50 ticket price, or a $2 million top prize.
Tickets for the raffle, Lucky 7s, go on sale Monday for $10 each. The top prize is $700,000, the first time in the two-year history of the raffles that it will fall below the $1 million mark.

Oregon Lottery tries first raffle
For $10, the Oregon Lottery says the odds of becoming a millionaire will be better than than the average lottery ticket.
The lottery is offering its first raffle, with a guaranteed $1 million jackpot to be announced on March 17, St. Patrick's Day. The drawing is scheduled for 8 p.m. Pacific Time.

Calif. Lottery introducing new game show
After nearly 24 years and millions in prizes, the California Lottery is replacing its Big Spin television game show with what it hopes will be a more attractive, four-part successor, Make Me a Millionaire.

International super lottery to create jackpots of $500 million or more
A massive, multi-country lottery with $500 million jackpots is expected to launch within four years
Camelot, operator of the United Kingdom's lottery, has been in talks with firms in 48 countries, including Australia and the US, to launch a global draw.
