I gotta believe that they will settle for a 5 of 56 and a 1 of 56, they are so intent on making this the biggest thing since sliced bread. And in their greed to divide the $$$ that drive this beast! The paltry $10 mil. it starts at now for the mega is a joke, it should already be a min. of $15 mil....but hey..there are alot of states to divide this big pot up with and they all want their fair share. With Calif. joining it should be a min. of $20 - 25 mil. If you took all the states that basically gave up on their respective lotto games and added up their min jackpots, you would be talking in the range of $26 mil, not counting calif...so where do they come up with this $10 mil...well its about dividing up the pot...all of these states are greedy and self serving.So...if they have the ability to jack up the odds and really payout less than they use to and profit more..you have pb and mm, which one day they will merge...and all of this to offer a huge jackpot that feeds off the greed of a nation, people looking to win these astronomical sums and all hoping to be the only one to win.Human nature I guess, and as for winning on a consistent basis that is the last thing they want to happen. But I guess in June we will see what they finally come up with...but their main goal is to set record jackpots and what ever odds they deem necessary to achieve this goal they will do...count on it.

I voted yes.  I think it will eventually..maybe even take some years.  I don't know how I'd react to being the only holder to a $500m jackpot.  I just think that $500,000,000 Annuity looks better than $236,534,995.09 Cash (after taxes).

That would be awesome.  I plan on transferring schools to New Mexico so I'll be even closer to TX than I already am.

Cash, stop telling me to not count on winning! lol

I decided i may take cash on a 500million jackpot.  It depends on if i'll be worth more, as much, or almost as much as the Hiltons (Paris is my favorite celebrity) @ $320m.  =)~

Yeah, there have been two Powerball jackpot winners that took the annuity this year (although one of them took it by default because he failed to make the decision within 60 days).
