Scorpio,

Who were the players that had been winning? .....and where did they post their recommendations?

      Greetings my fellow PowerBall players,

How are we doing with the new PowerBall format? I mean, how are we really doing? I'm not talking about hypothetical results like those attained in MADDOG10's challenge series. I'm talking about the tickets we actually buy and cash for real money. Is anyone doing any good? Has the new format thrown your stategy off or has it made no difference? Ponder

I told myself I'd quit playing when the game changed, but I guess the lure of giant jackpot win is more than I can resist. LOL  I did cut my PowerBall play back to $5 per drawing and I put the balance into a $200,000 4/33 + 1/31 eight-way game. Thus far, I haven't cashed a ticket on either game in the two draws I've played.

I threw out the old PowerBall history. Playing five lines altogether, I'm using two lines of my own selections and three QPs for the 5/55 matrix. I'm picking my own red PowerBall with one of the lines of my own selections and QPs for the other four red PowerBall numbers.  I plan to start making systematic use of the new history after 11 draws. Type

On Saturday I matched only one number (30) on two of my QP lines. I honestly don't recall what I had on the first drawing, but I know I didn't cash a ticket. That puts me $10 down. PowerBall has always been a tough game, and the new 5/55 matrix has made it even tougher. Sometimes I think they ought to be paying us to play. I'll keep trying though. Bang Head

Anybody else care to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about their real PowerBall play? Skeptical

      Just curious,

      aye'

i do all my confessions on my blog. "my lotto purchases today".  still i play powerball all the time and i have just switched over to playing all quick picks with the mutiplier for the maximum draws.

I got the number 50 on one of my two Powerball tickets (QP's) for tomorrow night's (Wednesday 9/21) drawing.  I also had the number 50 on my MM ticket (also QP) for last Friday (9/16).  Something is up with the number 50.

            9-21-05/ 8:40 p.m./ Powerball results: 0+1 with powerplay

I spent $2.00 with the powerplay option to make $4.00.

First prize from the new matrix is $9.00.

At least it pays for two more tickets or another week of powerball.

Well, how about that?  My panel that had the number 50 on it also had two other numbers, so I won $7!  That's only the second time I've ever won anything without hitting the powerball since I've played.

                The results: 3-28-34-35-50 powerball 8

                My ticket: 3-7-8-34-50 powerball 29

There's that wicked 50 again!  I should've played a couple tickets tonight!  Congrats Ryan!

As Aye pointed out 11 days ago...there's something up with the 50, both on PB and MM.

It is probably just a phase JAG.

ryanm was your tickets quick picks?

I played exactly 18 numbers and got 5 of 18 but didn't match 3 in one line.

Yes, the 50 continues to roll! Unfortunately, I didn't manage to cash a ticket on last night's PowerBall game. I played five lines again and I matched only one number. Now I'm $35 in the hole under this new matrix. I'm still looking for that big win that can jump up at any time, but I'm fully aware that those kinds of wins are more the exception than the rule in this game.

I was figuring on three repeaters last draw, but there were just two, and I only figured correctly on one of them. Still, only three numbers have repeated in these seven draws. I'm wondering just how many more times that 50 is going to pop out before it goes cold. Well, I guess we should have all been riding the wave. I'm glad some actually cashed tickets. I hope my time for that comes soon. Losing is not fun.

                        Better luck,

                        aye'

Well, I play 5 to 8 bucks per draw, my own choices and some QP's and I haven't had a winner in the past 2 months so I can't really say.

I feel like I'm going through a dry spell, as I haven't even had an intuitional hunch. Oh well. I just keep hoping.

                            8:57 p.m./9-24-05/$2 for $4 powerball with powerplay

0+0 for line one and line two.

No prize this draw but I still am on the second half of the $9 winner for the next ticket.

This is getting ugly. Last night I matched only one number (10) on one of my five lines. That adds up to no cash. I've played a total of forty lines in these eight draws without cashing a single ticket. The overall odds of 1 in 36.61 are even beating me! ConfusedPowerBall wins have always been few and far between for me, but it sure would be nice get something back soon.

There were three repeaters last night. I was looking for that many on Wednesday. I'm afraid to even guess what the coming drawing might hold. It doesn't seem to much matter whether I use QPs or my own selections. I've actually matched more numbers with my own selections, but I haven't won anything. With the limited history under the new 5/55 matrix, I haven't really been putting much work into my plays. Three more draws and I'll start playing hardball! I hope the jackpot keeps on rolling. I'd love to pick that big plum. Thumbs Up
