I had something unusual happen today.  I had 5 lines printed on one sheet.  I got the power (14) on one ticket, and 3 of 5 two lines down, for a total of $10.

Not bad.

Of course, I don't post the many times that I get zilch.

It doesn't.  I live a short distance from the PA border.  It's about 10 minutes from here.  I can buy either MM or PB tickets, depending on the jackpot size.

Sometimes in fact I take my bicycle there because the ride is especially beautiful.

The place where I buy my tickets had a PB winner in the $200M + range about a year ago.

It wasn't me, but I checked my tickets very carefully then dreaming and dreaming.

Sorry, but I only buy my own tickets and I don't generally buy quickpicks anyway.  I don't want any confusion should I win.

A few years ago, a woman tried the "I lost the ticket" scam to try to claim a prize.  The real winner was able to demonstrate that her ticket was what it was - the real winner - by producing a record of her previous purchases of the same numbers.

I'm off to get my tickets now, using my winner that I'm cashing in.  It's a fair sized lottery, so I'll play with all winning $10.

I fell asleep earlier and almost slept away my chance to hit tonight's big PowerBall jackpot. Hmmmmmmmm, maybe that's an omen. Whether it portends of fortune or failure remains to be seen. I had to dash out to purchase my tickets before the cutoff time. I might end up wishing I'd slept a little longer.

I took two complete lines of some of my favorite numbers along with three lines composed of 5/55 QPs and the same red PowerBall number. All I can do is hope. I've got one more drawing after tonight before I take off the gloves and start serious number selection.

That 50 ball just keeps on popping out. It's hit six times in these nine drawings and it just might not be through yet. It was the only number that I managed to match on Wednesday. I had it on two lines. Again, that got me nada... not a dime.  That 50 leads the way among the eight repeaters under the new matrix. 27, 48, and 50 are the most recent repeaters from Wednesday's draw. The 10, 31, and 43 are the three repeaters from last Saturday.

I'm hoping to hit something tonight....anything! Preferably, it would be a nice 3+1 hit to put me in the black, but I'll settle for most anything to get my PowerBall rolling.

                SCORE: PowerBall - $45, aye' - zero

                Better luck,

                aye'

I should have slept a little longer. The only number I matched last night was the 8 on one of my QP lines. I'm on a perfect winless streak for PowerBall since the new 5/55 matrix was implemented. The 8 and 54 were the only repeaters last night. That leaves 19 numbers that haven't come out in these ten draws. I'd say that's a little bit lopsided, but we can thank the 50 for that to a great extent, and it's only the short run.

Soooooooooooo, PowerBall is $50 ahead of me. As RJOh says, "Unless, you win a jackpot, you're paying to play." That's about the only way I'll ever get ahead of this game. Bang Head

                    Better luck,

While Ayeknowitall has been on a losing streak, I have been on a winning streak.  Two drawings ago I won ten bucks.  I have had the powerball in the last two drawings.

I probably shouldn't complain but my "winnings" come no where close to matching my losings.
