the hoosier lottery has gotten a lot of negative publicity due to scratch off scandals and other issues such as low payouts plus computerized drawings.here in the last week 888 has hit twice on a computerized drawing in indiana.do you think they are trying to do this to take away some of the negtative connotations involved with the games being computerized?

I think IN shouldn't go to any computerized drawings. It makes things rigged. That's why my vote was yes.

Inasmuch as I believe that computerized gambling via online casinos is rigged, I find it hard to believe that a government sponsored event such as the lottery would be rigged. The simple mathematics will win them money in the long run, and if they are found to be scamming their residents, it's just a matter of time before the residents quit playing, therefore costing the state a ton of revenue. What will they do then? The only way to solve that problem or perhaps preventing that problem would be to go back to the old hopper method and eliminate the computerized garbage. Because I find it hard to believe they would rig their lottery, I voted "Not Sure"

I'm surprised NY King Kong Millions was as popular as it was, since the drawings were computerized.

Gosh, since they had so many repeat players on their weekly game show you think I could get on it? After all the odds are nearly 1 in 500,000 of getting on that show, yet people are always beating those odds---Incredible!!! I just know ill get on the final show!!!hahahaha

Hey mike-did u check out those big daily game payouts this week. Also, a question? Are the 10 dollar scratch off odds 1 in 3.29 mean 1 in 3.29 tickets or 1 in 3.29 packages?

It must be packages seeing how I won 10.00 out of 115 scratch offs.

I said maybe only because normally unless you live in or near IN you wouldn't be playing it.

Since many people here on LP play online and play it.... it's hard to say. Those sale losses are from stores not online play.

I have won on Indiana a few times but not a lot but, it's not a state that I play very often.

Not sure but, if any state was rigging the lottery someone would find out. It might be just a hard state to hit.

I know a lot of people here on LP say that GA is easy but, IN is hard. others say Idaho never wins.

I don't usually see Idaho picks in the threads...

So it's not the state & computer only it's how many people actually play.

The computer could be rigged or hard to figure out but, there is many states that have computer drawing or balls that I know many people here on LP say is hard.

On the other hand I do think Kansas is rigged. They are dening it but I think it is rigged. maybe not every night just when they feel like having a hardware glitch as they call it and that is a computerized drawing....

It's all luck no matter how you look at it.

                        PP

                        Good luck to everyone!!!

WOW .........is all I can say.

I read the following thread like you said Mike...

                            http://www.lotterypost.com/thread/125555/508588?q=Indiana

Never knew that was going on till now.

This is one of my points before unless u live in the state. I don't think people care....I guess.

My advise is send a letter to the BBB in Indiana.

If they go through and see this *&% happening then they will investigate

I reported a business awhile back that was doing a scam. Don Lapre...I'm sure poeple remember him. The 1 -900 scam ...buy a 900 #.

Well after thousands of people complaining....Don is no longer.

So skip the lottery peope....don't try asking politicians...they don't care..or they would have done soemthing already.

If you want to complain and get it out in the public....go to a news station and have them invstigate IN lottery.

Send a email to a bunch of News channels and see if you can expose them.

                            Good Luck to all.

I'm avodiing IN unless I feel lucky....

                            PP

                            Good luck to everyone!!!

I live in Indiana and haven't played Hoosier lottery since computerization. Is it rigged?? I have no proof.. Does it stink like week old byproducts from a fish processing plant in the summer?...YES

Remeber this is the same state that blamed Cherry Masters in VFW halls for the loss of profit after they went to computer draw. Our "wonderful" Gov. appointed a woman from Vegas to head the commission after the scratch off fiasco. Our new slogan should be

"And you thought your odds were bad before!"
