well I forgot 799 also..lol..I really do hate computers..so add 3 combinations to 777-799=19..but the point remains the same..0 and 1 will always come out more..

ok do this..take all the nite draws for pic 3 I have 33 states entered in my book now for nite time pic 3s..just in the states only..

518- throughlast nite o65

california 998 through-052

connecticut 741 through-778

that is all the combinations I have entered for them states at this time because I just started keeping up with all of them.. that is 14 combinations for every state except those that do not draw on Sunday..so I went and counted every SINGLE COMBINATION that has come out that has a zero in it..total was 124..this group..000-099 boxed...then I counted every single combination that is in this group..111-199 boxed..total is 111...then I counted every single combination that is in the group 222-299 boxed total was 92.. zero and one will always come out more..

000=1  011=3  022=3  033=3  044=3  055=3  066=3  077=3  088=3  099=3

001=3  012=6  023=6  034=6  045=6  056=6  067=6  078=6  089=6

002=3  013=6  024=6  035=6  046=6  057=6  068=6  079=6

003=3  014=6  025=6  036=6  047=6  058=6  069=6

004=3  015=6  026=6  037=6  048=6  059=6

005=3  016=6  027=6  038=6  049=6

006=3  017=6  028=6  039=6

007=3  018=6  029=6

008=3  019=6

009=3

now..

999=1  777=1  788=3  xxx=1  677=3  689=6

888=1  778=3  789=6  667=3  678=6

889=3  779=3              668=3  679=6

899=3                            669=3  688=3

999=1 combination

888-899=7 combinations

777-799=16 combinations

666-699=34 combinations

so as you move closer to 000-099 the combinations go up..that is why the set 000-099 has the most combinations in it that is why you see 0 come out as much as you do..and 1..because both of them sets carry the most combinations in numerical order..ie. 0 total for all 33 states 124 times..combinations in group 111-199=111..0 will always be ahead of one in any pic 3..it has the most combinations..therefore it will come out more times than one..and if one catches it..then 0 will come out many times in a row to regain the lead sorta speak..lol..I have found this to be true..and maybe I didnt make things clear enough so everyone could understand at the beginning and if that was the case maybe this explanation is more detailed to understand..

Every digit shows up an equal amount of times over all the possible numbers.

I have one more question for you: what is the reason 0 and or 1 would show up more than e.g. 2 and 7, if they show up an equal amouont of times?

I agree...they all come out the same amount of times...you just have to take advantage of the "adjustments". You can't argue with mathematics.

some states/games go into certain "dynamics", but just saying "numbers with digit 4 and/or 5 in them" come out more often than other numbers is... well, i don't know what it is, but "wrong" is describing it.

Numbers with 0 and/or 1 occur 488 times on the 1000 numbers
Numbers with 1 and/or 2 occur 488 times on the 1000 numbers
Numbers with 2 and/or 3 occur 488 times on the 1000 numbers
Numbers with 3 and/or 4 occur 488 times on the 1000 numbers
and so on.....
Numbers with 0 and/or 2 occur 488 times on the 1000 numbers
Numbers with 0 and/or 3 occur 488 times on the 1000 numbers
and so on...

mathematical certainty, only gambling might beat it, ...  for a while...

i'm done arguing in this thread.
Pick3 has been broken, everybody just play numbers with 0 and/or 1 in them and get rich, b/c digits 0 and 1 fall more often than the other digits....

I do not disagree with any of the facts about the makeup of numbers presented on other replies on this thread.

All lottery mags I have read and software I have list box combos ascending order. Lottery Post does the same thing with the 220  box combos.

We know lottery digits hit pretty much on an equal basis over time. I have personally tracked pick 3 combos on a digit by digit basis. What occurs when we do that is a repetiton of combos from one lottery digit to another be it no match or doubles. Thats all fine doing it that way. It worked for me.

What we have when we track numbers in box columns 0 thru 9 is a decreasing amount of combos that can hit with the lowest digit. There will be no repetition of box combos in any column from 0 thru 9.

What I have done this afternoon after work is do a sheet with the breakdown on box combos 0 thru 9.

The info is here for anyone who wants to track numbers in this manner. This is the breakdown of the combos 0 thru 9

pick 3 hit % avg
no match 72%
doubles  27%
trips_____1%

The 0-1 contain 64 no match
the 0-1-2 contain 85 no match
the 0-1-2-3 contain 100 no match

well if you list every combination from 333-399 and 444 -499 I will bet you WILL NOT COME UP WITH 488 COMBINATIONS..

333=1  344=3  355=3  366=3  377=3  388=3  399=3

334=3  345=6  356=6  367=6  378=6  389=6

335=3  346=6  357=6  368=6  379=6

336=3  347=6  358=6  369=6

337=3  348=6  359=6

338=3  349=6

339=3

=127 COMBINATIONS

now lets do 4 shall we..lol

444=1  455=3  466=3  477=3  488=3  499=3

445=3  456=6  467=6  478=6  489=6

446=3  457=6  468=6  479=6

447=3  458=6  469=6

448=3  459=6

449=3

=91 combinations

so set 333-399 and set 444-499 =218 combinations blocked..I think you have really misunderstood the point..not single digits..I am talking about blocked 000-099 and blocked 111-199 ..those 2 sets blocked carry 488 combinations in numerical order..

as you can see set 333-399 only carries 127 combinations and set 444-499 only carries 91 combinations like set 999 only has one..888-899 has only 7 combinations

set 777-799 only has 19 combinations in it..and set xxx-699 has 37 combinations in it..I wasnt talking about just the single digit 0 or 1..I was talking about the entire combination blocked..and yes..I will stick to my previous statement that the set 000-099 will always come out more because it has more combinations in it..

and now here's something you'll really enjoy...

Below is the entire list of subsets of 5 unique numbers from the set of 0 thru 9

There are 252 subsets, but any 3 digit unique number can be found 21 times within the 252 subsets.

So, here's the math...

If you wheel any subset and it's mirror subset, your odds of getting a hit (when the draw is also a unique number ) 6 to 1. Those are the best odds I know of in the game so far. So I'm pretty much stuck on this method of play, personally.

and now here's something you'll really enjoy...

You know the mirrors.

0 = 5
1 = 6
2 = 7
3 = 8
4 = 9

If you select subset 1, 4, 6, 7, and 9

the mirror subset is 1, 2, 4, 6, and 9

or

You could select any subset and it's opposing subset

1, 3, 4, 8, and 9

0, 2, 5, 6, and 7

That's all fine and dandy, but then you have to come up with a method for selecting the subsets so you can get the hit.

You could select subsets which contain the hottest numbers of a Pick 3 game and then select the mirror subset or the opposing subset or all three subsets for a play of 30 numbers.

One thing for sure, though, when doubles and triples are drawn, it's a guaranteed loss.

But, it's one of those factors that keeps me from playing too many numbers at once. I like to stay at 20 picks per draw.

And another thing is to try and temper the delusion that I can actually figure out a consistant method of picking numbers. I think it's best to just call it luck and accept the fact that it will come and go as it pleases.

Thanks,
I remember now. Did not click in my brain.
