Good post by CARBOB.

Jack, keep in mind that your new angle of tackling the bogus ball games is a very daunting task. These games are designed for the player to lose. It doesn't take anything away from the concept. You've already demonstrated that it does work.

So keep on truckin'!

Rick:

It's looking less daunting, depending on how things go with KS and Kentucky tomorrow. Meanwhile I've come across a couple of shortcuts on the non-bonus ball games that might help some.

Imaginary wagers today, 9 lotteries, $440 Imaginary US. Wins, with NMRR and one other ( I think) still out: $400 Imaginary US. Two 4 of 5s for Indiana.

I'll try running up some more using that shortcut tomorrow and see how they play.

Hi Rip Snorter. I love this thread, and check-in always. The path your marching down is challenging indeed, but doable. Like you said, it really is all in the nuances. If you've peridocally gotten synchronicities between Lotto results, and your picks, then in my book you are on a winning path.  .

Your own wonderful creative imagination, like everyone else's is, is the key in progressive movement toward a winning way. Nature or Consciousness, is infinitely more Creative than we allow ourselves to be. So it seems to me that if we can latch onto and flush out this Singular Operative Principle of the Universe ,by ambling down every road of inspiration, even if it only for a minute, it will help us to really qauntum leap, into more than what we imagined for ourselves.

Often times we don't acknowlege that whisper or voice in our head  that says "what if I try...." and stick with the more 'safe', and inflexible left-brain ONLY aproach. Your creativity has served you well thus far, and I hope it now goes into a Quickening. You are ripe for it.

And BTW, I'm sure there are others who silently appreciate, and check-in on this thread. For me it's a feast. Thanks again.

I could not agree more.  I wish I could but just can't.  Your point was well made.

Jack, keep on trucking.  While you might feel all alone in this thread, rest assured that you are not.  I, too, am keeping an eye on this.  I wish you well.  I hope you succeed.

         Kola and gasmeterguy:

Thanks for the posts and the visits.

I sometimes allow myself to believe the only reason the Universe, or the coincidence coordinators gave us lotteries was to provide an incentive for figuring out how the numbers work.

Gasmeterguy, I agree with you.  Someone's going to figure it out.  Heck, someone (multiples of someone) probably already have.

Kola, thanks for the kind remarks.  Come back when you can stay longer.

I'm hoping I'll have something innerstin' to post later in the evening.  For now, it's a dry hole over there on the predictions page.

        Gracias to both of you,

        Jack

Semi-interesting on the red-ball prediction pursuit.

Kentucky isn't in yet, but here's what happened on Kansas:

Super Kansas Cash      14-17-19-24-27,     Cash Ball:     02     Mon, Jul 17, 2006

The three contenders (I thought) the method should reveal for red balls were 14, 17 and 19.

          2-6-12-14-16 +14 ** 2-6-12-14-18 +17 ** 2-6-12-14-19 +19 ** 2-6-12-16-18 +17 ** 2-6-12-16-19 +19 ** 2-6-12-18-19 +14 ** 2-6-14-16-18 +19 ** 2-6-14-16-19 +14 ** 2-6-14-18-19 +17 ** 2-6-16-18-19 +14 ** 2-12-14-16-18 +17 ** 2-12-14-16-19 +19 ** 2-12-14-18-19 +17 ** 2-12-16-18-19 +19 ** 2-14-16-18-19 +14 ** 6-12-14-16-18 +19 ** 6-12-14-16-19 +14 ** 6-12-14-18-19 +17 ** 6-12-16-18-19 +14 ** 6-14-16-18-19 +17 ** 12-14-16-18-19 +19 ** 2-7-12-21-23 +17 ** 3-7-12-28-30 +19 ** 3-8-12-21-30 +14 ** 3-9-12-25-28 +19 ** 3-9-12-22-29 +14 ** 7-10-12-25-29 +17 ** 7-11-14-23-29 +14 ** 7-8-14-21-29 +17 ** 7-9-14-23-25 +19 ** 7-10-13-16-22 +17 ** 8-11-14-29-30 +19 ** 8-13-14-28-30 +14 ** 8-9-14-21-30 +19 ** 8-10-16-28-29 +14 ** 9-11-16-22-25 +17 ** 9-13-14-23-28 +14 ** 10-14-22-23-30 +17 ** 6-10-21-23-28 +19 ** 6-11-23-29-30 +17 ** 6-14-18-19-22 +19 ** 12-14-18-19-25 +14

Seems this method for predicting red balls is a bust, but that it might be pretty impressive for flip-flopping them and using them for whites.

              ESP and the Lottery

              AlternativeScience.com

Most developed countries have had public lotteries for many years -- in the case of nations like France and Spain, for centuries. It was not, however, until 1989 that anyone realised that public numerical lotteries provide an unparalleled opportunity to test for the existence of paranormal abilities. Russian astrophysicist Mark Zilberman realised that the historical results of public lotteries provide a colossal statistical base that is completely independent of the observer and that relates to just one goal -- attempting to predict the outcome of a random process.

Zilberman examined the results of the Russian and French state lotteries and asked the question: are the results correlated significantly with any identifiable external factor?

As with the UK lottery, people win if they can predict 3 or more of the correct numbers. Zilberman looked at what he calls the True Predictions Density (TPD) defined as that fraction of lottery ticket buyers who win compared with the total number of tickets sold that week.

'From the standpoint of the player,' says Zilberman, 'lotteries are just a game in which one stands to win a certain sum of money. However, on closer analysis, lotteries afford us valuable material for investigating the ESP ability of masses of people. Indeed, public numerical lotteries are tantamount to a large-scale parapsychological experiment. One has here participants who are trying to predict results obtained from a Random Number Generator and there is feedback.'

There are many properties of lotteries that make them so useful for parapsychological analysis. The 'experiment' has a colossal statistical basis. In Russia, for instance, each monthly average TPD is based on between 200 million and 300 million predictions and the average annual TPD is based on between 3000 and 4000 million predictions. The trials take place every week and following each draw the participants can compare their predictions with the target. Results are published independently of any investigator, so there can be no selection of results. The experiment covers many years. The participants are not selected for any ESP ability but are a random cross section. Finally, the millions of participants demand demonstrable fair play and complete randomness in the lottery number picking system.

Given the nature of lotteries, any variation in TPD (the success of winners at predicting the outcome) ought to be random. In fact, Zilberman discovered in 1989 that the French and Soviet public lotteries exhibit an inexplicable but statistically significant seasonal variation over many years. Moreover, the variation in one country was mirrored in the other. As an astrophysicist, Zilberman realised that the variation was correlated with the 11-year cycle of solar activity. When solar activity is high, the number of correct predictions falls and vice versa.

'What can be the explanations for these phenomena?' Asked Zilberman. 'Are they the effect of external factors modifying the results of lottery draws? Are they due to human precognitive abilities as modulated by external geophysical factors? Are they due to human psychokinetic abilities to shift the stochastic process to a desired outcome?'

Zilberman investigated whether the variation might be an artifact of players choosing certain numbers or certain strategies. It is known for example that players prefer numbers below 20. He found that, 'with a certain strategy, large groups of players could reduce the TPD below the random level for a finite period. On the other hand, no tactics, no combined effort, could raise the density above the random level unless this involved prediction of the future.' As Zilberman points out, the results show both seasonal and annual cycles of the rise and fall of TPD above the random level. Moreover, the fluctuations are mirrored in both Russia and France.

Most predictable of all, as with all such anomalous findings, Zilberman's discovery has been relegated to the 'Forbidden Science' file drawer and forgotten.

Roughly half of the MM prediction for tonight (July 18) is a rudimentary test of the 11 year solar cycle piece of the Zilberman theory.  All the red ball predictions are derived from that.

Just for grins I compiled a wheel of most frequently occuring numbers for WV Cash 25, July 1995, and posted it for Thursday (I'd already filled Tuesday for WV testing something I can't remember what).

Posted it for 7 consecutive draws beginning Thursday.  $350 US Imaginary in wagers betting 1995 was a  good year, what with being pre-Y2K and all.

Here's the 1995 numbers wheel trying to rear their heads in WV in hot, dry, brave new world:

                    Hokay.

Anyone who's watching this stuff and is interested in the thoughts of the Russian astrophysicist about 11 year solar cycles.

As all of you probably know about me by now, I believe the numbers behave in a more-or-less generic pattern.  One possibility is that a person can use the results of a single lottery to guestimate what will occur on other, similarly matrixed draws.

I've used the compiled, most frequently hit numbers from Illinois Lottery, July, 1995, created a rough wheel of 50 lines, and posted those wheels for a number of Pick 6 (high-number) draws for the remainder of July.

Probably it won't show Jack.  On the other hand, if it should hit on any of them (including Illinois, but more-so on the others) the implications ought to give each of us pause for some serious thought.

A number of those draws include bonus balls, as well.

Just a heads up for those of you who are interested in a shot-gun, off the wall test of something unlikely in the extreme.

                    Jack

I created this wheel, using 5, 15, 20 and 47 as key numbers because each had at least three hits on the draws:

                        5     15     20     49     2
                        5     15     20     49     10
                        5     15     20     49     13
                        5     15     20     49     23

There's a full wheel on everything that hit more than twice during the month. The leftovers were then plugged into the remains of the 50 lines after the full wheel was complete.

Then I worked it downward by matrix and posted it, sometimes for several draws in a row, on most of the pick 5, and pick 6 games until I got bored doing it.

By 8pm (MDST) here's what's showing on the predictions board in addition to the two PA games shown above:

                        Rip Snorter California Fantasy 5 3 of 5 05-13-15-20-28 07-13-16-20-28 $10

                        Rip Snorter Ohio Rolling Cash 5 3 of 5 02-05-15-20-28 02-07-14-20-28 $10
                        Rip Snorter Rhode Island Wild Money 3 of 5 01-05-15-20-31 01-05-07-31-34 $10

It appears those Illinois numbers of July 1995 are doing a lot of climbing to the top of pingpong ball machines and RNGs tonight.

Even to me this seems a bit on the weird side.

                          Jack,

Another interesting experiment. Good luck with it. It'll be interesting to see the results. Then you have to tell us why you picked IL 1995 ?

Posted 4/6:  IL Pick 3 midday and evening until they hit:  555, 347 (str8).

                            Hi Rick:

I needed a high numbers game from 11 years ago to check out that Russian astrophysicists (story earlier in the thread) theories about random number behavior and the 11 year solar cycles. I figured if it showed up on the Russian and French lotteries it might be worth a test or three at the risk of seeing my prediction stats in a smoking crater with dead numbers scattered half mile across the landscape.

Illinois just happened to be one where LP draw histories go back that far and the matrix is high enough to allow a look at the big draws as well as the pick 5s.

I don't tink so this one qualifies as luck. It's just chasing down what the Rooskie pointie-head already noticed and wrote about.

For the day it was the death of a thousand cuts, money-wise.  I'm not sure how many of my picks were testing this method, but I had 1400 total for  the day.  With all the 3 of 6 and 3 of 5 for the day the total loss still probably ended up being around 1300.

It ain't a money maker, but it's certainly intriguing.... all those half-way there hits from numbers more than a decade old is something to ponder.

                            Gracias,
                            Jack

                              Jack,

So there was a method to your madness. 11 year solar cycle...good addition to the theory for testing. Some of you guys have great imaginations for testing different things.
