Jack,

So there was a method to your madness. 11 year solar cycle...good addition to the theory for testing. Some of you guys have great imaginations for testing different things.

I'm just too damned anal-ytical!

Maybe you're just the right amount of analytical.

The results yesterday were certainly nothing to write home about, despite all those 3 of 5s and 3 of 6s.  The did, at least, get paying hits on a high percentage of lotteries where I tried it.

There are a lot more pick 6 draws today, which will give it a lot better workout.  The ones that I've posted today (as opposed to spillovers from posts yesterday) I've customized to the individual lotteries, still using the four basic numbers Illinois Lottery from July, 1995, but adding numbers from a second lottery on each new one to make up the other columns.

Maybe that will ferret out the other two or three numbers that were missing from those generic wheels yesterday.

Jack

Jack, I've been following your posts with regards to celestial events and lottery draws with great interest. Now my interest has been rekindled and I've been trying to find my old notes to resurrect this idea which would be much simpler to handle with Excel, and far less time consuming....I put together a system back in 1985 based on numbers drawn within so many days of the full and new moons. I didn't get into the times and degrees and such but the results were outstanding. It got to a point where I would have my wife read off draw results and as I entered them into the charts I could actually tell her the number she was going to call....it was very common for draws to have 3 or 4 numbers common to 10 to12 draws spaced over several years. This was a tedious pencil and paper routine that left me talking to myself on several occasions, and I developed it to a point where I named it LunaTix©. I used the system with  my work pool and cashed tickets in twenty seven out of 44 draws in one stretch for a total of almost $5000. This included multiple 4 hitters and two 5 hitters....the winning tickets were held until Christmas when I gave each pool member a check for almost five hundred dollars....the look on the faces of the people at the lottery office was priceless....they had to give me my own wicket to go through 100+ winning tickets....she asked me how I won so many times and I told her I was lucky. Wink

In any event, I encourage you to continue on this celestial path as I know it produces, and I'll keep digging for the particulars I'm currently  missing so I can get LunaTix producing again.

      Hi Karnac:

Thanks for the post.  Sounds as though you had the moon-phase part of things down, maybe as pat as it can get.  I can see how it got your head swimming, though.  Does it to me, even using Excel.

On this phase of testing I've had to drop the celestial coordinates portion of things until I see where things are going.  The moon phase is running, but only because of the coincidence of 1995 July moon this quarter is only two days off the 2006 phase, which is handy.  It allows me to look at moon phase data without having to work at it.

For this set of tests I figured to just shotgun the thing fast and loose ..... run it up on as many flagpoles as I could and see if the numbers saluted.

Having said that, I'm encouraged by what's happening on the draws.  It's not making money, but it's beating the dickens out of the odds.

On average I'd guess the odds are 2:1 against any 50 lines of numbers getting a 3 of 5, or 3 of 6.  Yesterday they beat that hollow.

Today I ran up a 7 day set of wheels of the same numbers on each of the keno games, as well.  I wanted to try to assure myself the same set of numbers is hitting across the entire spectrum of random number generating, mechanical, or RNG.

Thus far the results of that, amigo, is truly weird.  Not that I didn't suspect it, but seeing it graphically demonstrated is still a bit rattling.  All the Wednesday keno games aren't in yet, but here's how it looks.  I'll throw in everything else that's in thus far, since I'm cutting and pasting anyway:

Those hits are still coming in hot and heavy.  The list above is becoming more partial by the moment.

I'll put the entire thing up when all the draws are in, or tomorrow morning.

There are some odds and ends still out that might change things a little.  Washington Keno, BC 6/49.  Maybe others.

But I don't think more lotteries are going to be needed to give you a feel for how those Illinois Lotto numbers from July, 1995, fared today.

The test is going to have to go on several days longer because I posted some of the predictions for several draws.

But frankly, I think it's a waste.  This day has told me what I need to know to go to the next step.  The next step is to figure out where to get less generic 1995 draw results.  Most of the LP records don't go back anywhere nearly that far.  Some, not more than a year or two.

            Hey Rip,

I know very little on this subject, however I do realize that the moon does have an affect on objects on earth. I also have been taught, just recently that the amount of influence is extremely small. As someone put it, the influence of the moon to small objects on earth is equivalent to as much influence as holding a beach ball 10 inches or so away from your body.

I also remember the same person stating that the reason the moon has strong influences on the tides is because of the size of our planet. The moon affects (noticabley) only large bodies such as the earth.

Basically, my question is.....What one thing would you say is the reason why you put so much credence to the system you use, based on the above satatements? In other words, Is it because of continous wins (albeit small wins), or something else.

            Thanx in advance.

            Very interesting........

              Hi Pac:

              Thanks for the post.

In answer to your question.  For the moment I don't have a system to put credence in.  I'm merely testing, doing my best to develop enough knowledge to be able to apply it.

I don't know much about beachball.

              Gracias,

              Jack

The title intrigued me so I had to browse through the topic, though I don't know much about these games.

Regarding moonphases, I remember growing up, we had a neighbour, about 15/16 years old, beautiful girl with shiny, long tresses.  Everytime the moon was up, she would go prancing and singing down the street, totally naked.  Her mom and dad, would be running after her to clothe her and take her home.  That was always a struggle for them.  She was wildest when the full moon was at its splendor.  During the day, the girl was quiet.  I asked my mom why she acted that way, and mom answered, matter of factly, the girl was a "moonchild".  I was satisfied with the answer, and did not wonder any further.

                Now, I am wondering.

                  Thanks for the post.

It's a shame those solar cycles last so long.  It would be interesting to chase them backward in our lives to see if maybe we aren't 'sun children'.

Thinking back, July1995, July 1984, July 1973, July 1962, July 1951, don't all stand out in my memory as momentous times, though some do.  If July, 2006, happens to be a time of change thanks to the numbers I'll have to think back more closely on those, I expect.

                  Gracias,

                  Jack

                    General update:

I'm still reeling over the prediction results of yesterday.

Today, I'm trying to plug moon phases and celestial coordinates into the equation to narrow the field a bit as a next step.

I'm using those numbers to fill empty slots in the prediction page with wheels generated from the original Illinois Lotto July 1995 numbers, then wheeling the results and posting them where ever I have openings for Thursday draws, be they pick 5, or pick 6.

I'm going to quit posting predictions for advance draws.  Doing so means I'm nailed hand and foot to the mistakes of yesterday (as tends to happen in all our lives).

The learning curve on this is a fast one.  Too fast to assume what I know this morning will not be superseded by results at midnight.

I've been thinking about your post a bit.  After doing so I concluded it needs a hair more answer than I gave it, though I suspect you knew the answer already.

Yes.  I have an underlying premise running through the entire celestial coordinates, moon-phase thinking I do.  I'm aware you, and probably everyone else who's read it on a Discussion Forum thread a while back probably believe it's absurd.

Eventually it might prove itself false to me and another explanation might emerge.  Until then, I'll chase it to the end, or as far as I can get, without allowing myself to be deterred by beach balls and other factoids people might have learned from other people who learned them  from other people who learned them ad infinitum.

I'm aware nobody's learned this particular factoid from anyone else, and nobody's ever likely to nail it up on a billboard and call it, "truth".  Nobody's going to pass it on to anyone else for them to learn with the solidity of a beach ball.

Which doesn't mean it isn't true.  That remains to be discovered.

                      Thanks for the post.

pacattack05 and others reading this thread.

I'd be interested in seeing any theory put forth to explain the results of the prediction results of yesterday.  Any plausible explanation other than moon phases and solar cycles will be most welcome.

If there's nothing you've learned maybe you can think something up yourself.  (This applies to anyone.  Not just pacattack05.)

If you come up with something good, we'll test it, too.

When I began this thread I was  operating under a single set of basic premises.  It's been the undercurrent for most of my thinking about random number behavior for more than a year.

                          Premise #1:

Every attempt to impose random behavior on numbers, mechanical, or RNG, merely serves to 'free' those numbers to behave in ways that are non-random.  Once free they universally respond to an external influence of which we are not yet aware, (or are not yet certain).

                          Premise #2:

Regardless of what energy is influencing numbers to occur, once freed from artificial influence, it does so in specific, repeated cycles.

                          Premise #3:

Any time an RNG, mechanical machine, or any other method is represented as a means to produce 'random' numbers, if the product is numbers that do not fall within the range of historical cycles, there's cause to suspect human interference with the method.

If true, whenever a lottery consistently produces numbers by RNG, or any other method, that consistently fall outside the historical range of the cycles, those numbers are being influenced by man, by prima facie evidence.

Any thoughts or comments will be welcomed.

I'm probably trying to move too fast with things, jumping to conclusions, I suppose.

This is just in from the 'yesterday method'.

I might have to drop he revised methods I went to this morning for a number of draws and keep running the yesterday method tests a while, just so's to be able to tell Abel from Mabel.  Maybe it's worth it to dredge the yesterday stuff a week and see what pops.

This one almost paid for the imaginary price of bets in imaginary wins.

This just in.  It was posted using methods expanded from what was implied by the tests yesterday.  The prediction numbers were the same fundamental set from July, 1995 Illinois Lotto, but tweaked to include celestial coordinates and moon phase data from surrounding months.
