FYI - For anyone who is having problems with errors, you have to make sure that the file name has not been changed in any way when you download it. I believe that the macros are looking for specific file names when they are working. If you downloaded updated files, your computer may have changed the file name when it downloaded the updated file if the original download was still in the directory. I know that Firefox automatically increments the file name by 1 if a file by the same name exists in the same directory.

e.g. original file name - Workouts

downloaded update - Workouts(2) <--- This file won't work and will generate errors though there is nothing wrong with it except the file name

To fix this, get rid of the first downloaded file (delete or rename(your choice)) then rename the update filename to Workouts as it should be.

Or download to a different folder.

win question; Is there anyway I can use the results chart and workout to enter the first 3 digits for mass. which we use here?also can I use the four4 me sheet also by entering past results.thanks

    Retxx and etal

Update both Excel files Wednesday Nov 16 2006 at 1:30 pm est.

    The updates include:

    1.  P3Drawings.xls (Excel File)

Massachusettes Pick 4 - Split into Front 3 and Back 3

    2.  Workouts.xls (Excel File)

Added new Toolbar for Massachusettes Front 3 and Massachusettes Back 3 (Under Combined Column)

    Just a reminder:

You can create your own list of digits and enter them in"

    Workouts.xls>PowerTrailsCustom(Tab)>Cell Range R1 through R10.

You can scroll down to see Four4Me's Matrix's.

Another Tip for those who want to test past drawings.

    1.  Create a new folder and call it P3PowerTrailsTest

    2.  Copy and Paste the P3Drawings.xls and Workouts.xls into this folder.

    3.  Open the "Workouts.xls Excel file

    4. Open the "P3Drawings.xls Excel File

    5. Click the Tab "P3 Results"

    6. Scroll down to Cell Range M49:M50 and P49:P50.  There are 2 Toolbars.  "Click To Delete Last Midday Drawings Monday thru Friday" and "Click To Delete Last Evening Drawings Monday thru Friday"

    7.  Now depending when you updated your last drawings (Midday or Evening) will determine what Toolbar you will need to Click.  For example:  If you updated from last evening and you want to backtest last evening drawings (Wednesday 11/15/06) drawings (state(s)) you would need to Click the Toolbar labeled "Clck To Delete Last Evening Drawings".  By clicking this Toolbar it will delete all the Evening Only draws.  Now you open the "Workouts.xls" Eexcel file and click whatever state you want to test.  Next you would click the Tab labeled "Totals" or the Tab labeled "Totals Four4Me" and enter the evening drawing for your state in Cell "C1".  If in cell C2 anything other than a "0" you have a "Straight".  If you scroll over to Cell "AA2" and if you have anything other than a "0" you have a "Boxed".  If you have anything other than a "0" in Straight or Boxed you can look at the Columns labeled "7 Days", "10 Days", "12 days", "14 days", "15 Days", "21 Days", "30 Days", "45 Days", "60 Days", and "126 Days".  If any of the combinations hit they are highlighted in "Orange" according to the Matrix in Column A.

    8.  If you wnat to keep backtesting you would then need to click the Toolbar "Click To Delete Last Midday Drawings Monday thru Friday".   This of course if the state yur backtesting has a Midday drawing.

    Hope this helps!!

      That's an excellent Point.

The excel file names can NOT be changed.

The file names should ALWAYS be:

      P3Drawings.xls

      and

      Workouts.xls

If they are anything but the above the Macros will NOT work.

      Good Luck!!

I will update the P3Drawings.xls file every morning with the preious days draws.  This will save time for those who don't want to update this file.

      Good Luck!!

                To Retxx and All,

If you just want to test your own state or limited number of states you don't need to update every state.

Just go to the Tab that has your state.

                For example:

                Massachusettes Pick 4

Since Mass 4 uses the Pick 4 to play the Pick 3.

Go to the Tab labeled MA3F (Massachusettes Pick 3 Front)

                1.  Click the Toolbar in cell A1 "Click to Add New Drawing"

                2.  Enter your the Pick 3 numeber in Cell "E20"

If you make a mistake you can Click the Toolbar in Cell G1 "Click To Delete Last Drawing"

The Click the Toolbar in Cell A1 again.

                3.  Then open the Excel File "Workouts.xls" and Click the Tab "P3 Toolbars"

                4.  Click the Toolbar "MA3 Front" (Massachusettes Pick 3 Front)

                5.  Click the "Totals" Tab for the Combinations

You can also click the Tab labeled "PowerTrailsCustom" you can enter your own digits in Cell range R1 through R10.  Then look for the combinations in column AA based on the Matrixes recommended in the "Power Trails" Instructions from BobP.

I wanted to make this program easy enough for a "Cave Man" to understand it.

Links to download files for Power Trails.

Let me know if any problems or questions

                    3 Total Files:

                    Forever and All,

These are the links to download the 2 Excel files and 1 Word file (instructions).

I updated the drawing files from Thursday Midday and Evening 11/16/06.

                    1.  If your downloading these for the 1st time

                    - Create a new folder (any name your little heart desires)

                    - download the 3 files into this new folder

                    - don't change the names of the Excel files

                    P3Drawings.xls

                    and

                    Workouts.xls

                    2.  Need to have both files open to work.

I posted a link in the beginning to www.lotto-logix.com.  This is where the PowerTrails documnet is located.

Give thanks to BobP for the OK to use.

Even when I download the new file, I'm still getting this error message for North Carolina:Run time error 9, Script out of range...  Debug

I'm using Microsoft Office 97 Excel program.  Could this be the problem?  Most of the other states open up fine.

                        saleenpls,

That is strange that NC does not work but the other states do.

                        1. Open the Excel file "workouts.xls

                        2. Tool>Macro>Macros>

                        3. Scroll down the list of Macros until you see the Macro "CopyNCEvening"

                        4. Highlight it

                        5. Select "Edit"

                        Should see this:

                        Sub CopyNCEvening()
                        '

                        End Sub

                        6.  Let me know if this is the same code?

I can't understand why some states work but not others.

I tested both on Excel 2003 and Excel 2000.

May be too many trying to download at one time.

PM me with an email addy and I will zip them to you.

                              winsumloosesum,

I deleted the old program completely out of my computer and downloaded it again.  It works fine now.  Thanks for the help...

Now I just need to figure out how to use it LOL.
