dx123,

Each of the three list boxes are there for convenience. You don't have to play all the listed boxes. The first list box is for Straight and/or Boxed plays. This is also the only list box to have any of the triples, as you would only play triples as a straight. The second list box is the first list box reduced to a simple boxed form with any duplication that might exsist in the first list box. You would play this listing as boxed only to capture single or multiple boxed hits. The last list box is the second list box with all the duplicates removed. It's to make the plays more compact for efficient plays on the boxed win.

A few things to note about the Quantum Selection Method. As some of you have found, it does not produce the exact same set of numbers when you click Get Numbers. The automatic assumption is that this is just another random number generator; it's not I can assure you. There is a structure to the pick process, however, because of the small sample size some of you are using, you can only see a small part of the whole structure. If you want to see there is an actual structure to the picking, set the Method Parameter to 500 for Pick 3 and 5000 for Pick 4. You'll then see there are repeat selections in the Straight/Boxed listing. This shows the frequency at which each combo is being selected, not just plain old willy-nilly random, but structured on a Quantum Basis.

I get a message when trying to open it after unzipping it with self extractor or the zip link.  The actual wording goes as follows: Component MSCOMCTL.OCX'or one of its dependencies not correctly registered. A file is missing or invalid.

Does this mean I have to get WINZIP installed?

          Thanx..

If it's the self extractor, yes, it a WINZIP issue. You might need WINZIP to get it. That's outside my scope. Try the WINZIP site, http://www.winzip.com/index.htm, maybe the have a freebe you could use.

Thanx,,,That's what I thought. I used to have it on my old computer before the hard drive crashed and burned, but I just bought my first laptop, and have yet to install it.

I love how they (WINZIP) say that it's not a free program, but they let you try out the evaluation period, seemingly forever...lol

Ok, I've uploaded the ZIP and EXE. Look at the README.TXT file first after downloading and unziping.

Sometime certain Microsoft Libraries can become unregistered when installing and uninstalling a lot of software. One very common problem is the MSCOMCTL.OCX.

To correct the error, first search your drive for MSCOMCTL.OCX to see if you have it. If not you can download it from:

                      http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/mscomctl.zip

The file should be placed in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Or, if you are C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 if you are using WinXP.

Once it is there click START--> RUN and type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX" (No quotes) in the box.

                      That should fix the problem.

Actually, had we used the Package & Deployment Wizard to package this up into an install program, it would have included that file. We ran through it to find out. It just needs that file, but we were hoping that most of everyone already had it so we could just send out the complied short form application. Not have to make this some big install procedure... Guess not, oh well... it's in there now.

Thank you for the program JADELottery..!  It's a lot of fun to fiddle with.   Is there an easy way to clear the results screens?  I've been just putting in all zeros in the draws and hitting the results button to clear, but is there an easier way?  Thanks again!

ok, it's in there. just look for the 'Clear Numbers' button.

download the latest zip and copy over the exsisting file where ever you put it.

                              or

download the exe and just run the self extractor, choose the folder (directory) where you put the program, make sure overwrite is selected and click unzip.
