And i don't think you said that in most industrialized nations more people play blackjack than monopoly i don't think that's true....if you wasn't aware of it, monopoly is consider a "FAMILY GAME"...blackjack is not...and just if in case you wanted to say that more cards are sold worldwide than monopoly that is because cards do NOT cost the same price as a monopoly game...

Card games are boring games, again they don't even use dices to spice it up...

I also BET that more people play bingo world wide than they play blackjack..I also bet that more people worldwide bet on CHICKENS FIGHTS, than they play card games...

You all are behind...

I've stayed in many hotels and motels too that for an extra fee offer video games and movies. They have them in hotel/casino rooms and if a players is comped, that could be included. The people that take their kids to Vegas on their vacation probably view the gambling as a side attraction and know what to expect before making their reservations.

Invent a game that includes cards, dice, bingo, and chicken fighting and find a casino that will buy it.

Since the dawn of mankind before the coin was invented (i don't know the history but i think it went something like this) (and the oldest coin betting game tells me it had to be heads or tails) and the playing card was invented, because i think the coin was invented first before the card....But before the coin was invented how did people bet? because betting is like prosititution they are the oldest professions...but how did people bet when the only thing they had was chickens, cows, and sheep....Something tells me they betted on chickens...Yeah maybe the Romans used the cards and the cards mostly was used by tarot and psychic reading and i think that happened in the 900's....But all this time from the dawn of man people have been betting on CHIKENS...

And something tells me worldwide there are more people that bet on chickens than there are people that play cards...

And none of you are "campesinos", campesino is a very poor country farmer...They engage in chicken fights all over the world, i've seen it on TV....

No i don't know the statistics, i don't know if more people bet on chicken than there are people that play cards, but what i said is that i am willing to bet...When people say, i am willing to bet is an expression...

i read an article about the history of betting but it was years ago, now i remember few words of it...

Something tells me that there are more people that bet on chicken and people that play bingo that there are people that play cards...There might be more people that play cards than people that bet on dogs though....

Even if i was wrong, you all are wrong and i am right...

I did a Google search and found lots of casino/resorts but couldn't find any chicken fighting/resorts.

When a kid i used to sell "empanadas" in one of the centers where they had chicken fights here in Panama (one of the many centers)....

like 2 months ago they killed a famous rapper here in Panama product of violence...3 days ago they kill that famous rapper manager over a dispute of chickens fight...the manager received 5 bullets in his chest...

I wish people wouldn't joke about c*** fighting. It's a cruel blood sport. I know people eat poultry, but physically deforming an animal (they clip off part of the foot and replace it with a metal claw) and cheering while 2 birds tear each other apart to the death is something I can't possibly fathom. Bull fighting is even more barbaric. If the bull weren't stabbed and practically debilitated before the matador puts on his little show, the man wouldn't have a chance. At least when 2 men get into the ring, they've made a conscious choice to get their brains beaten in to make money.

Fox hunting, dog fighting, etc. .... give me the thrill of a casino anyday. No blood, no torture. Just people having a good time.

For those of us who can't afford a trip to Vegas, there's always the Lottery!

Pumpi..do you mind telling us what part of Panama you live in? Just curious since I've been there and, although I never lived in Central America, I had an entirely different experience than what you describe in your many posts. (No electronic banking? Hotels without swimming pools? Chicken fighting in the streets?) I've been in Panama City, Bocas Del Toro and Chiriqui (Boquete)

Last night on Poker Stars, over 75,000 people were playing for money and another 52,000 were using "play money" and its not the biggest online poker site. I couldn't find out the average size of the pots nor could I find if the losing chicken ends up in a pot.

Of course with the advent of online gambling of COURSE there is going to be more people playing card games than chicken fights....But i don't think that was always the case...And online gambling is something new i think it has less than 15 years in existence...

No i am not going to mention what part of Panama i am from...If you check my avatar it doesn't say that i am from Panama and that's because i don't want outside people who read LP to know that i am from Panama...People out there are sick, very sick...They think of themselves as O.K. but they are sick...

I also think that chicken fights and bull fights and the strongest man in the world competitions/matches should be abolish....Is cruelty...That's why i say that people out there are mentally sick....They don't think they need help, but they do...They don't want to believe me that nothing has changed since the time of Christ and the time of the romans...

Just the same way people gather to watch other people kill themselves in the Roman times, people watch with spectacle some man kill a bull, basically a bullying because is a more powerful human been against a defenseless bull, like the bull had a nice...But i think is more of a homesexual game because people get afficionated to watch A MAN, their idol bully an animal...I am not gay that's why i say, what am i doing watching 1 man bully an animal like that one guy was my idol or my husband...I can't stand people when they say "Ohh my little kid was bullied, and it even comes on TV and on the news, like the parent can go to the bullying kids house and call the police on them and what makes me mad is that is not even bullying is a trifle bullying, the true bullying is when they play a bullfighter against a man, or someone powerful messes up with less defensive people and the judges are bought, why? because is a big company and it doesn't have breaks...That's why i don't believe 100% in democracy, i've never had...

Samething with chicken fights....I feel chicken fights should be abolish is a cruel sport...

if you look closely at the "vestimenta" apparel that bullfighters wear, is really gay, it fits them too tight and with those shoes...
