I pick up pennies anywhere I find them. Enough of them eventually add up to real money.

I was at a red light recently, and someone in the car in the next lane rolled down the window and tossed out a handful of pennies.

I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they manage the lesser coins. People who toss them like that are likely to be the same people who end up broke five years after winning the lottery.

Picking up pennies will/should bring good luckWink  I agree, I pick-up pennies anywhere I find them.

Sully, I don't have to pick them up, Because my crazy husband is always picking up pennies every where!I mean every where! He saves them.

Once we where at the Subway waiting for the "D" train and some pennies  about 8 of them where on the train-tracks and he jumped down to pick them all up!

Sully, I slowly walked away from him and pretended I did not know the man!! Then he comes to the magazine stan where I wandered over, I looked at him and he goes..."What???!!"

          That's hilarious!!

Your husband is gonna be a great millionaire.

After you find a Penny: Do you look for the rest of the $1?

Walking across a parking lot I found a Penny: Then looked around for more: Found additional pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters: In all found $1.30.

On the way home stoped for a P3 Ticket: Played $1 on 130 boxed.

That night 013 hit: The next day I cashed in for $80!

Thank You To the Folks that Discarded those Coins!

I always wanted to do that here in my holler but I'm afraid I'd be digging for lead all the time. I don't think there's a square foot here where I ain't shot at something.

Since I know people drop them, I actively look for them. Bad habit or hobby? You decide. But I sometimes manage to find cash occasionally, a $5 bill earlier this month. One of the new ones.

I can't remember the last time I saw a penny on the ground, left in a Coin Star machine or even in the change dish at the gas station. I'm serious.

Did you all pick them up? LOL

I did see a dime on the ground by the gas pump about a month ago and left it there, figured I'd let some kid find it but then thought the kid won't

have a chance with some of the skin flints around here. Still, I left it and I wonder just who got it. I'd like to think some kid got it but with the

way some kids are these days....and dimes don't buy much at all...they probably left it there too.

The most I found was at a big supermarket...$20 on the floor and not a soul in sight.
