  I've been in a slump ever since I started only picking up pennies that were heads up. I finally found one tonight, but it'd been at least a month!!

  I don't normally pick pennies up on the ground. Once while I was in Jamaica Plain just outside Boston I saw a twenty on the ground so I picked it up, and a few steps later I saw another one and then saw 3 more... I then realized they were all counterfiet, so i threw 'em away...

  If you pick a lucky penny up off the ground and put it in your pocket, then accidentally run it thru the wash, does it wash all the luck off it?
