You're right, these numbers are super weird.
They fall into a group distribution of 0-5-0. That's a total of only 1,287 possible 5 number combo's out of a max of 575,757. Add to that, a 4/1 odd/even split, and that takes it down to a little over 100 possible combo's out of the max number of 575K.
Yet, there were two winners with FP's................
I've been sitting it out lately. (Mostly because today's payday, and until today, I aint had two nickles to rub together!) I havent beeen playing because I'm broke <Tell Barrack I'm Baroke ;-)> and also I'm seeing something totally weird on my spreadsheets. In the last eight drawings, only twice has a single digit number appeared in the first position. That's way out what's ordinarily true for Take5. In a years time, a single digit number in the first position appears 75% of the time. I always play a single digit number in the first position. That and a number in the 30's in the 5th position. That happens an average of 82% of the time over one year's worth of drawings.
Another very telling thing about that set of numbers it appears on average approximately once every 4,200 drawings. That's once every 11.5 years.
I dont know if anybody is interested (cares?) or not, but for what it's worth, I get those numbers I quote from a "Calculated Results Table" I found on the internet. However, the table I found is for a 5/36 game, not a 5/39 game like T5. I looked hard for a table for a 5/39 game, but I came up empty. So the numbers I quote are only close approximations for Take5.
All these weird sets of numbers are doing is allowing a math purist to say to you: "See? I told you one set of numbers is as good as another. It makes no difference. Each set of numbers has an equal chance of winning the Jackpot." And, that's 100% correct.
Except why do 82% of the past drawings have a number in the 30's in the fifth position? All the purist will say to you about that is: "That's because it's totaly random." Just like me, purists dont know the answer to that question either.
I got a "math purist" livin' with me.... she's 21 and a math major at a university in Connecticut. As we speak, she's attending a six week all expenses paid "math camp" at George Washington University in Wash. D.C. They're even gonna pay her a $2,100 stipend when she leaves at the end of the month. I cant believe this deal isnt costin ME any money. They even paid her airfare to get down there. I can see on Facebook that her, and the two dozen or so other 21 year old female's who are also attending this "camp" are in party city. What fools they be at G.W. University!!! And I aint jealous that my kid has one helluva a better deal than I ever had in college...... that punk kid.....

Got me 15 lines of Take5. Some look pretty good, and some look flat out butt ugly, but that dont make no neverminds to me. Here's the ugliest line I got: 2 8 9 12 29 (a partial-QP)
I even played some of those Chinese numbers commin' in to this forum from way over there in China. (Didja ever wonder how he's buyin his Take5 tickets over there? I did. Couldnt figure it out. Maybe he aint buyin any. And if he aint, then he aint splittin' the Jackpot with me if I win!!!)
Here's the Chinese numbers I played: 1 3 16 30 36 What the hey. I figure his numbers are as good as anybody else's.

Hey GiveFive, you're right. I'm NOT buying any of your numbers or mine. I'm a native New Yorker and use to play all the time in New York. Since I live here now, I just enjoy watching and putting my 2 cents over there. If you hit, enjoy your spoils.

My prediction for 7-8
2 Power Numbers 30 & 36 10 lines.
Numbers for 7-8 was 15,16,23,26,30 all of my 'magic numbers' came out. Oh well. I tried. Remember, the answer lies in these numbers:3,6,9,10,12,13,15,16,18,19,20,21,23,24,26,27,28,29,30,33,36,37,39
This is a much more normal looking sequence of numbers with a 1-2-1-1 format, & no sequentials. This is a set of numbers I could easily see being hit from player choices much less a free play or quick pick. I didn't play tonight.

jackpot,
Ahhh I see you are using Gail Howard's Advantage Plus software. I love her software but my Windows 7 laptop is not compatible with any of it. Like those numbers you posted she has lots of wheel's for large groups. Good luck to ya!
