In SC that would be 136000 after taxes.  I would pay off my student loans and everything else...then move to Florida and start a new life with what's left over.

After buying every shoe possible on the face of the earth, taking care of family and friends,  will put some away for a rainy day (nothing like shopping in another state on a rainy day!)

Not bad except for Philly in my opinion.

I had wanted to go there for a Cheesesteak until I saw a documentary about those 2 places and found out the cheese they use is Cheez-Whiz.

I have to go now, I just threw up a little in my mouth.

He he he (cheez whiz yuck!)

Yeah, I think if you made a paste out of salt and orange food color, you would have the same thing.

                    Would I still go shopping?

I don't go shopping now so I guess the answer's no. Cept fer whiskey, I hate shopping. I put it right up there with talking on the phone. I hate phones.

Truth be known, I don't really like being around Homo Sapiens' that much.

That's why I stay way back up in here in the backwoods. Very few Homo Sapiens' up in here.

Right there with ya ridge. I sell furniture and I get so tired of dealing with people. I sold a couple curio cabinets to an older couple Saturday, and I felt sorry for the lady. She wanted them for an early Christmas gift and he was downright mean to her. He let her buy them but, man what an a--hole.  She was embarrassed by the way he talked to her and to me.

I don't like shopping, phones, or people too much anymore either.

I am ready to retire.......all I need is a few million $. LOL.

oh you won't have to worry about paying your student loans.....your state lottery will make sure you do before you get your cut of the money.........

The Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (which handles a majority of my student loans) has a section on their site for the lottery and it says money will only be witheld if you are in default, which I'm not. I'd figure that most every other lender goes by the same rules.

Either way if they want to take care of all that for me then good for them, I'm sure some people might be upset that they take it out before you get it but since it's the first thing I'd do anyways it's a non-issue.
