Dayum! Nice Skeptic. I bought 3 from different books. Won $20 on 2 of them, lost on 3rd.

The first has a single match for $5 and the coin stack for triple $5 totalling $20 bux.

2nd winner was a single match for $20.

Not looking good for me so far.

I look at it like this:  on the FMC which was my favorite $20 scratcher,  the odds of $200 is 1 in 200 approximately. Now the odds on Gold Rush Tripler are 1 in 196 for $500. If I just play Gold Rush Tripler the same that I play FMC I think ill be in good shape.  Techincally I shoudl win $500 the same amount of times I won $200 on FMC. Only reason I didnt play Gold Rush much before was because of the Top Prize being half of what it should have been & the fact there was only 2 Top Prizes left for the new release.

It sure would be nice to see that $1,000 spot say "CASH" - would hardly ever happen in PA, though. Someone was cashing in winners at Giant so I thought it best not to play much. One winner was $100 on $250,000 a Year for Life. She said to think positively, but I've done that and hasn't worked. Maybe this woman is the area's dr65 because the clerk said she's always winning.

Hey Rizz - I have absolutely no idea how and if the odds work on scratchers.. The one guy I know here won $500K on the GR when there was one win left. He and wife have their pic on the Lottery site !! He bought 5 tickets ! I did real good on FMC as mentioned - but only back in April. When a few hot rolls popped up. Your thoughts on FMC vs GRT odds does make some sense. But without KNOWING how many prizes (lower tier) were issued and left to win - IMO the odds mean nothing. I wrote the Fl Lot twice in the past weeks asking why they don't have a grid (like MANY other states do) showing # of tickets issued for each value along with how many are left to win. Updating the grid once a week etc. Both answers were the same "you can find out how many TOP prizes are left by clicking on remaining prizes left" They won't answer what I asked. They are still selling the GR when there is NO top prize left !! There are a few other tickets being sold with NO top prizes left. Check it out. Something is wrong here !! People are buying tickets without any knowledge of what's left to win. GOOD for the Lottery - bad for the buyer What's your take ?Why don't you - some of the other players you know write to the Lottery and ask WHY NO GRID ! Maybe if enough ask they might put one up. (I feel mouthy today LOL)

Hey James - how did you do with GRT ?? I got 3 $100's and a $50 from #000 - 009. Those are my fav numbers to play. Went over to Publix just now for some ice cream and bought 10 - they were from the middle of the roll Arghhh - only got $80 back. I never do good with middle #'s.

Malie10, You don't know just HOW lucky you were.

See those numbers 1-6-14-24 on that ticket? Well I have over $1800.00 in losing $5 $10 and $20 tickets ALL with the number 24 on them. The rest have at least one of the other numbers. I haven't done all the math but I'll bet that 90% have the 24 and two of the other numbers and probably 50% have ALL four of those numbers somewhere on the ticket. Now, I have hit a few $100 winners in there that do have the number 24 on them but the VAST majority of tickets I buy that have the number 24 or the 24 and some combination of the above four numbers on them are LOSERS.

                    Matt,

I called Harrisburg to complain about one of their retailers telling me that if "he aint got the money in the drawer, he don't have to pay out nothin". I had a $50.00 winner and the clerk had just done the infamous "drop" so he was short. I was under the assumption that if the store didn't have the cash they were supposed to write a money order or a check. DUH! on my part. The gentleman at the executive office of the PA lottery told me that that was a grey area. They tell the retailers that they SHOULD pay out the winners but they CAN'T force them to.

Anyway, back to those numbers. I asked this gentleman at the PA lottery office where the tickets for PA were printed. He told me Georgia. I asked him about algorithms and "seed" numbers and he wanted to know if I worked in the IT field. Strange question right? Told him no, I managed a warehouse but couldn't help seeing a pattern on all these losing tickets.

When I told him about ALL the tickets having the number 24 on them he thought that was a little weird and asked to me take the losing tickets to the Pittsburgh office of the PA lottery. He wanted them to send them to his attention in Harrisburg. Told him no problem I know just where it was on Western Ave. Northside of Pgh. I'll post the results when and if he ever gets back to me.

Bought 7 in a row $5 20X tickets on the way home. ALL LOSERS!

                    1) 24,1

                    2) 24, 14

                    3) 24, 1 ,6

                    4) 24,6, 14

                    5) 24, 6, 14

                    6) 24, 1, 6, 14

                    7) 24, 1, 6, 14

                    Nice huh? Random my butt.

The best game they had lately was the $5 cherry slots game. Over now because they supposedly gave out all the big winners but it was great while it lasted. I had 6 $100 winners, 7 or 8 $50 winners and over a dozen "triple the amount with three cherries" winners ranging from $15 to $60.

Interesting! You've got to take those to Pittsburgh or send them in just to get a response of some kind. I will look for those numbers next time, and know probably the ticket would be a loser! I have a ton of 7UP tickets from the 2nd chance drawing they had and I am going to look through them and see whats there as far as the numbers printed on the losing tickets I have. South Park eh? I am in Belle Vernon. The new Giant Eagle at Settlers Ridge has tons of big instant winners.

So THAT'S what one of those winning chips look like! WTG malie! I didn't like this game when it came out...still don't and try to avoid it but because

of the long line of numbers in a vertical row and the chips thrown over there on the side...I just didn't care for it. But thanks for posting that

one, it sure would be nice to see a Cash in all of them plus win on every single line in the playfield...I wonder if that is possible. If I'm not mistaken

I think this ticket is one where you can win on all of the chips. I'll have to go look on the website.

Yes, you could win on every color chip plus each play number. When I buy these I don't scratch the prize until I see what all of the options are by looking at the website. I like to narrow it down and see what I could win, once I know I won for sure. Then nice and slow lol until I see where I fall, and the rest is always right. http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/uploadedfiles/PA-880%20DATA%20v4.pdf

Hi - I had a $5 win today on 20x the Money, and I think the winning number was 24. I must have been lucky. I'll be paying more attention to my losing tickets. Post any response that you get from the Lottery.
