Hey Florida Players. I decided to splurge and play 4 FF and 2 SM. All 4 FF's and 1 of the SM lost. The other SM hit for $50. Anyway I've noticed something that really annoys me. I noticed that whenever I get a 12,13 or 23 in, say, the winning numbers area and a 21,31 or 32 in the your numbers area, the ticket always ALWAYS loses. I don't think I ever got a winner with one of those numbers in the winning numbers area and it's reverse in the your numbers area. WHY IS THAT??? Is that some kind of trick on behalf of the Florida Lottery? All the losers I got today had a number on the top and vice versa on the bottom. The $50 winner did NOT have this. Have anyone from Florida noticed this? I just had to vent my frustration. Good luck

Oh, by the way, it's not just the expensive tickets that has this reversed number issue, it's also the $5's and $10's as we'll.

Oh yeah! Definitely! We've had to vent on it before too! And I know for me personally, I have seen that exact pattern you mention. It drives me nuts! I don't know if you've noticed this one, but any time I get a 17 and 18 right next to each other in the Your Numbers section, it 's a loser. Same with 9 and 24. But yes, the 31, 21, 13, etc, with the one offs and reverse numbers are terrible.

Last night, I chased the $5 NJ crossword from no 18 to 59, total investment $205. Got my money back plus $25. The winners were at the tail end. I only had $100 with me and the store ATM was down. Good thing I am friends with the store clerks and they let me play on credit until I hit the winners. I dreaded the thought that I would have to come back and pay for losers.

BTW, I found scratcher heaven in a tobacco store in Blackwood, NJ. OMG, the store had tables and chairs for patrons, a large bin for discards and the mandatory ATM with the lowest fee, $1. He had a wall of tickets, much like the Berlin Wall of Scratchers. His counter was elevated, I guess so he can have a good view of everybody and to keep the tickets out of reach from sticky hands. I have seen this in NY where the tickets are up against the wall. I guess they make an inviting target when they're at the counter.

He also has sold million $ winners. I guess the lesson is, the store with the largest gross also are the prime candidates for the Jackpots.

This doesn't make sense - what's your take ?  I go to the ticket machine at Publix and buy five GRT's from one bin - here in the exact order is what came out - #002 - 024 - 001 - 023 - 000 ! How could that be ? How could tickets from a machine come out with mixed numbers ? Anyway I got 4 losers and one $30 winner.

I tried 15 Super Millions the other day and got ONE $20 !! I'll never buy these again

          Thanks

Somehow the one bin appears to be alternating between 2 packs. I've never seen the inside of the vending machine so I don't know if that's possible or not or they just programmed the push buttons on the outside to alternate.

I'm about done with scratch-offs. The FL Lottery has gotten too greedy. The other day I tried 2 100X, 2 GRT, 2 Monops, and all were losers. Tried another 100X, FF, and Monop, and only the 100X was a winner for just the money back.

Yesterday I bought an assortment of $1/$2 tickets and made that investment back, but lost on the Shimmering 7's. Also tried 1 more 100X. Got a bunch of numbers in the 30's in Winning numbers: 31, 33, 35, 36, 38, and knew that every other 30 number would be there, which of course it was so another loser.

I need to keep telling myself the Scratches don't pay off. Instead should try Cash 3 or Play 4. I've been thinking that instead of wasting $150 on scratches, I could try to pick a drawing in Cash 3 to cover all Doubles and triples combinations ($145) and take my chances trying to win $100 or more. But I know as soon as I do that, doubles/triples will mysteriously stop coming in.

I haven't been playing. However today would have been my grandmom's birthday. A week after she passed it was announced that my favorite all time athelete would be at the Valley Forge show today for signings. I figured I was already there and thought to try their casino. HORRIBLE. I can make $100-$150 last an hour or 2 easily at Hollywood or come home with a nice profit. Today it was "Gone in 60 seconds". Ok maybe not quite like the movie title, but I would say it was about 15 or less. Not even exaggerating. The signing started at 1, got stuff signed. Took it to my car and went back in. I was back in my car by 1:45.. You have to pay to get in and my receipt shows 1:17. I walked around a bit to get a feel for the place before I played, so maybe 20 min max to blow through $150... This was my dream weekend and now it is back to reality. Spent too much money, but at least I got alot out of it(minus the casino). Good luck everyone!!!!

zzplayfaster - the store manager opened the machine in hopes of finding out why the mixed number tickets came out. Each book of tickets fits into a slot that firmly holds only that book- no two books can possibly feed into one another. The manager had no explanation as to why. Suspicious to say the least. I have bought many tickets from the machines (over 10000 through the years) and each ticket comes out on the heels of either descending or ascending numbers in order. Never seen or heard of this before. When the last tacket of the five came out - the machine said empty.

That's crazy. No, there's no way to have a machine run off multiple rolls unless you take the rolls apart one by one and tape them together..

I had something similiar happen to me.....was buying consecutive tickets from a machine and it skipped a number. Thought it was pretty weird

I don't think it's the machine that is faulty or even someone messing with it, but that the pack is faulty. With scratch-off games there are always a number of packs (sometimes hundreds) that get returned to the warehouse for miscellaneous reasons, usually related to printing errors. They get pulled when someone complains, a manager notices, or the rep notifies them to remove it (i.e. game structure issues).

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

They do it here too...it's mind control. I kid you not.

They want to trick you into buying more tickets....like, saying DARN I needed 21 and got 12 or give you the rush of thinking that

12 is a 21...looks like it, huh? You think: wow...almost got it, one more can't hurt. That's why I insist on 1 of the bigger tickets

and max 4 of $5's at a time.

My advice...buy one and quit if you're playing $20's.

Curse the numbers but don't fall for the tricks.

This is big business and I'm just still convinced they have a department that examines the best way to get people to buy more tickets.

                          Think about it.

I just noticed something in the Emergency Rules for game #1228, the new $20 game Super Millions-- in the emergency rules where the "Your Numbers" section is defined, there is no #2. The numbering goes 1, 3, 4, all the way to 39. No #2.  Same in the "Winning Numbers" section. Is there no number 2 in this game???
