I would pass out if i scratched that winner lol

The games I play have jackpots of $100K - $250K and the $20 games up to $10 million

I love to play the "for life" games. I hope a whole new series of them is issued here since the grand prizes left are very low. I would rather have some of those top prizes than a lump sum of $1 Million that turns out to be more like $750,000 after taxes anyway.

I think a million after taxes etc you are only left with $500K ...

If you win $100K for life you only get $75K per year minus additional income taxes. You aint gonna be a 'millionaire' either way though

As long as you don't play more than you can afford, I don't think it's so bad to lose some money in hopes of a big one - but I do think of other things I could have used the Lottery money I spent on.

I know PA has a 25% Withholding; not sure how much else is taken out. I'd like to find out - LOL. My favorite prize would be the $250K a Year for Life.

25% is federal and it is taken right away no questions asked. after that you gotta pay income tax 20-35% of your winnings unless you write it off. In Fl we dont have state income tax thank god.

I've never looked into the total it would be in PA. Would be interesting to look into.

I'm down in the Lotto also; have no idea how much, but it is a bigger figure than I'd like. It's just a hobby I really enjoy - I do get frustrated when I lose, though. Have to get better at that or play less.

I would settle for something like $50K. I would know I would be ahead for life as far as lotto is concerned. i would take up poker and sportsbook then. i made $2K profit betting sports 1 night. the odds are always 50%

I just want to get a $500 winner first. I should have one playing at the rate I have for 1 2/3 years. Also am not counting on a grand prize - I might stop with a $10K winner.

I noticed in Penn. you got better odds of winning $10K. its almost 1 in 15,000 on the $20 tickets. you ever bought any rolls Matt ?
