I agree with you dallascowboyfan,  I expect to win.  Whether it a lottery ticket or slots  at the casino prior to all my gaming activity I usually do visualization  sessions with my eyes closed.  They are very detail .   With the lottery Tickets I visualize the purchase  of the ticket all the way to what I expect to be on it  down  to filling out the W2G forms and the congrat. the person give me when they're  handing me paper work and the check. Same thing for the casinos.

      That visualizin must work.

Even the Tennessee State Troopers are gettin in on it.

They just come up with some bumper stickers they passin out.

      The bumper sticker says:

"Visualize Using Your Dadgum Turn Signal"

Holy cow!  I matched 3 white #'s on my last group of powerball tickets for a $7 win!  This is major for me, it's my first win in 346 tickets.

Visualization works in sports (ask any golfer, basketballer, etc), business (goals, look of business, etc) and sex (just ask any guy or even girl).  But I have have visualized myself winning the big jackpot for over 20 years now and I have not won so much as $35.  So I would say visualization does not work for winning the lottery despite the fact that 1 woman in California won that states lotto and says she employs power of positive thinking or the few people who say they expected to win.  I think that is all self-indulgent, patronizing, and disingenious.  Does one hope to win?  I would hope that to be the case for anyone purchasing a lottery ticket.  But for one to expect to win or see it happening is preposterous....to the odds of 1:176,000,000 or 1:196,000,000.  Let me put that into perspective....who in the world "personally" knows 176,000,000 other people?  Who in the world has produced 196,000,000 "widgets"?  Now have that person who only knows a few hundred people run into someone they know in a place they do not live.  That does not happen often, so can you see how preposterous the claims people make of "I knew I was going to win, or I expected to win" really are?!!!  Or have that person who has only produced a few thousand "widgets" see one and identify when it was produced...not likely.  So in the end, those who are fortunate to win the jackpot are LUCKY....nothing more, nothing less.  Just simply lucky.  The 7 people in upstate NY were lucky, especially when you consider the story of the win.  All jackpot winners are lucky and should just thank their lucky stars and God (and that applies to even those who are atheists or agnostics or wiccan or devil worshippers) and just be humble and go about living their life.

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!

Hey there Bob...to reply to your statement...generally I NEVER set myself up for disappointment. As matter of fact, I generally always try not to look at newly posted pick 3 no.'s with any type of mind-set that my pick's are gonna be the winners. Ironically, after playing my choice #'s for weeks, I picked entirely new set of #'s by just looking out the store front window @ 2 license plates....I won the mid-day drawing AND the eve drawing...just goes to show >> It's all RANDOM chance!

Random wins, so does every other method.  The question is, which wins most often?

When I check my tickets, which is always by the internet, if I don't win and the pot rolls over, then I get hopeful about winning the jackpot. But the closer I get to actually buying the tickets, the more doubtful I become. If I don't win, and the jackpot doesn't roll over, then I do get a little depressed, untill the next morning.  Wink

Money can't buy you happiness, but I sure could afford the misery that it brings! Wink

Man???  What a loaded question??? Jester  Especially for the serious players!  Wow!!!  I expect to win MOST of the time, I frequently play Pick 3, that's my GAME, however, P3 hasn't been too kind this year thus far.  But I do expect to be out of the red soon!  Last year I ended up WAY ahead!  To answer the question on the other online games, Powerball and Mega ball, I generally don't expect to win, the odds are stacked, but but but, you can't win if you don't play!!!  Now on the scratchers???  I'm a casual player on this game.  I am saving to purchase a $5 or $10 roll, we'll see!!!

You can't dream about winning if you don't play    Cool  There's plenty of money out there to win, like I always say....I'm gonna HIT TONITE!!!

Had a fig tree in the backyard growing up. My Granny used to make strawberry jelly out of those figs. Delish!

Don't think I ever stepped on one though.

OK, I'm confused....Don't you make strawberry jelly from.......strawberries!?  Big Smile
