I've uploaded a Excel summary file (all542Finalindex) which provides a baseline for any 5/42 game. If you haven't seen it, you might want to compare it to the results of the game you play. It's about 62K so it shouldn't take long to download.

Once you open it, you will see the chart for the pairs and trips in the back digits, front digit patterns, individual digit breakdowns, mixed digits, prime numbers, etc.

I wrote it to help (me) get a better understanding of the setting for the 5/37 in Texas. It has been expanded for 39, 40, 41, 44, and now 42 ball games. There will a few items (front digit patterns with 4 in the second position) that cannot occur in your game. Ignore those, they should show 0 (zero) anyway.

There are no formulas in the worksheet, so it can sorted, sifted, rainbow colored, charted, cut, pasted, or whatever, without loss of data.

Gary,

Lots of thanks and kudos to you! Of course, I will download it asap.

Working on putting front digit patterns with a single back digit. Primary concern is lack of data which you can see in the chart. Thinking a rematrix to 4 X 3,  4 X 2,  or possibly 3 X 3. Those combinations will provide more data, but increase the back digit totals from 10 to 100 and 1000.

Should be interesting.

How's the research going here on the Digit System?

Just curious.

BTW, is this an attempt to improve on the system that RL used for years, the one that produces an 1100% edge compared to QuickPick play?

If so, that's going to be a tough act to follow!

Gary

It would be nice if you can work this out, The best I got to was maybe 3 of 5 front digits and maybe one pool

of 3 or so for one of the positions back digits.  Just using or picking 3 front digits and letting the rest fall where

they fall works very well to reduce sets.  Even hitting 1 or 2 is a big plus.

I was just in the chat room and some one was suggesting a digital system similar to yours.  There may still be some players out there working with a system similar to yours.
