Megamillions, hands down. Over the years I've lost out on billions by not winning.

No vote for scratch offs ? Unlike numbers its very possible for a winning ticket to be on the exact same roll you are playing. I missed out on $10K by a few tickets and $45K from another roll which I bought a few tickets.

Lotto or Powerball 5 of 6 would hurt the most.

Does loss of sanity count, I would volt PB and MM because of the odds, I don't know why anyone would

even play these games.  PowerBall with it's 1 in 195 million plus odds is a black hole and Mega Millions

the same.  You could play $100.00 worth of tickets for each draw and it would take you 19,142  years to

purchase enought tickets to win based on the odds however even if you could purchase all these tickets

over this amount of time you would have never had more then a 1 in 1,952,490 chance of hitting a JP

          for any one drawing.

Add to this the tax you would have prepaid on the original investment plus the cash option is around half

of the advertised JP and then you still have to pay 30% or more taxes on the half you do get then even if

you managed to win you would need to win at least a half a billion or more to come out.  While it is true

that someone will win it is interesting to note that since the beginning of Feb. I would say that over a

billion tickets have been sold to produce four winners.  Someone will win but the probability would say

it will not be you.  Ask yourself how much money do I really need and then settle for 1/4 that and play a

game that fits this amount.  A dollar and a dream is worth less then a dollar in the pocket.  I say don't play

at all but if you do play,  then bypass these games.

I voted Pick 3 because it's the "easiest" game and therefore the most frustrating to lose.

Posted 4/6:  IL Pick 3 midday and evening until they hit:  555, 347 (str8).

I vote for pick 3 that's my personal favorite, so far this year, I've only won twice, two $50 box hits (1/2 tank of gas money???).  We are in the month of MAY....so I'm due for a straight hit ...really sucks when you load up on your number only to win the box and not hit it straight... and, and, and, let's not talk about being 1 digit off!  About to let my numbers fall, and re-group, they will hit again on the repeat..... I like it straight

I don't undertand why anyone would play a game where the odds are only 1 in 1000. The only way to come out ahead in the lottery is to have results that are improbable. In a game with odds of 1 in 1000 you could get lucky and have an improbable result the very first time you play, but if you continue playing you will almost certainly be in the red again in only 500 days. Even people like David Edwards took many years to be in the red after an improbable result playing PB.

Mega Millions is a disappointment for me every week.

I win the lottery atleast once a month, always powerball, but never more than $3.

Dont know if that qualifies as winning, atleast its not always losing.

                        Ky Floyd

You have to win one first,  I could expect to win my 5-39 around 339 times to every 1 powerball win.  The average

JP for my 5-39 is 142K so 339 wins would be $48,138,000.  A PB JP would need to be at least $96,276,000 to get

the same bang for the buck.  Even if playing only 5 white balls for a PB match-5 which pays $200,000 I could expect

to win 8 times playing my 5-39 which would average $1,234,734, over one million dollars more then a PB 5 of 5.  I

just posted this so people could get a good grip on how good a $1.00 chance is.   I hope everyone who plays will

win but we both know the odds of that.

I can't really say losing at any lottery game I play bothers me too much at all.

What does bother me a little bit is seeing my numbers come up in a game I don't play, stopped playing or forgot to play.

That makes me want to hurt people.

                          And break things.

Same here rd, heart pumps no pain here either....only when we ask someone to go and play the digits for you,  i e. a family member,  because you are going to be out busy and will not have time to get them.....

and then drive by, or pass by the store and see it written on one of those cards they put outside of the magazine stand or the candy kiosks boy you can't wait to get home because you're sure they bought the digits; only to find out that   it sold out, or they didn't go buy them, outch!! sure smarts a bit!!!...LOL...lol
