That sounds cool. I used to like playing cards with wimmins too.

Especially when we'd commence to drinkin' and they'd commence to fightin' over me.   Big Grin

I play with my mother in law and her friends, they are all in their 80's, I would imagine they would fight over you if they could stay awake long enough.LOL

Did you exchange a walk on part in the war ?

For a lead role in a cage?

I usually get the wifey about $50 bux or so for her stocking. Usually a mix of a $20, $10, $5's etc et

    That's cool.

    Does she like it?

I wouldn't mind giving the Holiday losers away...they can enter them into the Holiday second chance drawing. Big Grin

I'd never give lottery tickets - imagine living with the thought of giving away a cool Million due to a burst of holiday spirit.

      Rudolph

That's the other side of the deal - what if you finally get lucky and get the big win and unknowingly give it away?

Did you use up all your luck for this lifetime?

      Good point, dr.

Will you be giving lottery tickets to anyone for Christmas?

          To whom?

          What kind?

          How many?

          Yada, yada, yada...

          Yes Cheers

Good point about giving away a cool millions, dr65.

If you give a scratcher you can't play a just-in-case duplicate for yourself like you could with a MM or PB ticket.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

            Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

              That's a good option too.

Give em Quick Picks for the big jackpot games but make copies for yourself for a split, just in case.

Now there's an idea that would work. I felt Scrooge-like after saying that but you have to understand..

                rub offs are mine.

I can share a jackpot though! Merry Christmas!

And I think we have to cut little mario some slack for giving my threads only one star. He doesn't care for Christians so much and this being the Christmas season and all, it's very hard on him. And maybe I've been a little too eager to point out and document how wrong he is about almost everything he says.

But I hope we can put this all behind us in this Christmas season and start anew.

Merry Christmas to you too, little mario! Noel

never will give them real ones but a fake one would be funny. If someone won a few million I would jump off a high bridge.

I have the same feeling on this. I don't even buy them for other people if they say "hey man I'll give ya $20 bux if you pick me up a $20 scratcher". Thats why the only person I buy tix for is the wifey. Its basically like buying them for myself =)

Then how would a ticket, signed by the 'giver', be a present to someone else?

Might qualifty as one of the top ten "insult gifts of the year", but would hardly be a present.
