$40M is more than worthy for my taste, with or without the headlines. And remember it takes MM four or five draws just to get to where the PB jackpot starts from these days.

Mac...........Whether it was planned, pondered, precisely persued or plain ole pleasure picked....in the end, it results in the same outcome...ya "got some"..kudos ta ya, ole man !!!!!....all these systems, analysts, psychics, mystics, mathematicians and whatever else is out there and yet over 7 out of 10 jackpot winners are QUICK PICS.......... plain ole dumb luck works for me Thumbs Up

From the Powerball website FAQ, "WHICH HAS THE BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING: COMPUTER PICKS OR PLAYER PICKS?"  "About 70% to 80% of purchases are computer picks. About 70% to 80% of winners are computer picks. Perhaps just one of those weird coincidences?"

"all these systems, analysts, psychics, mystics, mathematicians and whatever else is out there and yet over 7 out of 10 jackpot winners are QUICK PICS."

Even though the FAQ was posted many times on LP, it's amazing someone still finds the proportion of purchases to winning tickets incredible. Based on 70%, 47 of the 68 5+0 MM winners in the last drawing were QPs including at least 4 out of the 6 winning tickets sold at the same store.

Some players like the two WVA friends who played the same self pick combo 7 times with Powerplay "absolutely  believe" they will win a jackpot. We can just pretend their $14 million win is about the same as the another "absolute believer's" $200,000 QP win.

Nothing previously stated  had to do with the QP being "incredible". It was pertaining the the other methods and how ineffective they are when it pertains to the jackpot win.....What is incredible is, "  at least 4 out of the 6 winning tickets sold at the same store." or the area up in Fon du Lac Wisc, known as the miracle mile, selling as many jackpot winners as it has..Thumbs Up...There is no place like that in Florida
I hope they didn't sell that winning ticket  for tonight's MM drawing..............Best of luck to all in tonights drawing...Good things come to those who wait. Smile

Wisconsin had five PB jackpot winners, Fon du Lac is one of them, and that was won by the "100 Miracles" trust. York, PA had two PB jackpot winners. Fon du Lac had more than its fair share of other game jackpot winners and the PB jackpot is icing on the cake. I doubt anyone can logically explain without substantial evidence of cheating how one area can produce so many jackpot winners.

"There is no place like that in Florida"

There are lots of players in Fon du Lac that throw away losing tickets just like everywhere else. Considering the Winter climate in Fon du Lac, I doubt many Floridians will be moving there.

They might not be goin' to Wisconsin, Stack, but they're sure as hell comin' to Tennessee.
