I'm working on winning one of those jackpots before I start planning on how to spend it.  I hear once you win one, there's no end to the number of people willing to help or advise you on how to spend it.

    Funny you mentioned that, RJOh.

I just happen to be available for hire as a money manager.

And don't worry about a thing, I'll treat it like it was my own.   Big Grin

Wow, ok. I see in the link that reading all the way past the first sentence would have been required for you to find information on "private nonoperating foundations" sorry you found it so difficult to navigate. Maybe just stick to handing it out in cash??????

Actually, I didn't get to the first sentence. I saw August 2001 and stopped. I generally don't rely on material that is over 10 years old when it comes to laws and regs pertaining to taxes. None of the articles I've read use that term. But I did look it up, and added it to my collection.

So.. my bad. My second of the day. That'll teach me to read LP and drink wine all day on a Sunday.....  My bottle's almost empty.... Coffee

"Jack" handed out the money in cash to his family and the body count rose to 3 or 4, something like that, due to overdoses but I think he is broke now and his life is all better.

Oh no! Not MY family.... LOL.

I THOUGHT I wanted to spend the end of my life living simply working hard to properly give the money away.

But I've learned lately that if I don't live like a pig, and make all the money that I can, and suck the country dry, buy 16 $10 million houses that I'm a marxist.

I'll buy $10,000 bottles of wine when $10,000 would feed a family for a year.

I would admire myself and say, God I'm great because I have all this money when those poor suckers don't.[

            I don't think so.

It is very uneasy to understand what exactly do you want.

So, do you want wine for $10,000 or not?

I've been hitting two numbers constantly for 19 consequtive times in MM for last 9 weeks. Maybe trickster God has some naughty trick hidden in his sleeve for me.

If I win, I will invest in income generating investments (rental properties and such) and buy a townhouse in a costal city near Santa Monica. (I like the weather. That's it.) All my prospective employers are all located in Burbank area but the valley area can be very scorching hot in the summer.

Currently I drive a Camry 11', but I'd be happy to trade it for a new Toyota Sienna. I might consider buying a Buick but...I dunno.
