When it's all said and done, their prizes are just a fraction of what they advertise.

Factor in long annuities, much smaller lump sums, and fine print details, that are designed to keep as much of those prizes to themselves.

Biggest revenue maker for PCH, they sell billions in magazine subscriptions. They also peddle anything and everything from car wax to hair wax.

I will take the $1000. a week for life if it comes my way.....

Powerball is not changing back to $1 tickets because they are raking it in on this $2 game.  Just on this run alone they have not paid the $2 million and $1 million jackpot lower tier prizes like twice.  It takes less time for the jackpot to get bigger than before and sure they have not hit a record jackpot.  But they have had at least two or three $300 million plus jackpots this year and I don't know about you but I don't have that kind of money laying around the house.  At least powerball has a guarantee rollover amount of $10 million between draws not mega millions what did it rollover to from the starting jackpot $13 million this run and then it hit $21 million.  Now I will give mega millions props when I say that they always have more money for the cash option then powerball does when it does grow.  But I always have to wait for mega millions jackpot to grow to a nice size before I play and I always play powerball every drawing at least my $3 so I can have a chance at the $2 million.  So if you don't like paying $2 or $3 for a lottery ticket than wait for mega millions to grow but I am hoping for my big powerball jackpot to come my way before I take the big dirt nap.-weshar75

Thats what I been talkin about, PB is hangin on to HUGE amounts of money and virtually NO ONE is winning anything. Perhaps its a sign of the times that people are willing to pay everything and get NOTHING? What?

Just to prove the Big Boner Boycott is still in full affect, I bought 5 lines instead of my usual 113 lines.

                I also played a reverse "Donald" with 4 self-pick and 1 QP.........
