Yeah one winner as long as it's me LOL.....other than that I dont really care who wins as long as it's people who really need it...for example single mothers, people with lots of sick kids, people who lost their house and havent worked in like two or three years.....sob story after sob story...if it cant be me let it be someone like that

If sometime in the future, there was a $1 billion MM or PB Jackpot, how many winners would you like to win? Would you want one person to win the whole jackpot or would you like the jackpot split between multiple people?

Keep in mind this poll is based on what YOU WANT. I don't want to read comments like, it would be impossible for one ticket to win it all because of the large number of tickets that would be sold. For the purpose of this poll we will take for granted that there is a possibility only one ticket could win it all.

If it ever gets that high, please be multiple winners. Would hate to see some homeless guy on crack winning that amount all by himself. At least with multiple winners, gotta be someone who is not like that sharing the pot.

Look, if anyone wins, the best thing is you have the ability to say how that money is used. But I'd rather see some nice hard working family or small business owner win it, rather than some crack head that blows all the money on drugs and hoes and cars and partying in Dubai and Macao ends up broke in a few years.

Hey dont think cause they're a nice hardworking family that they'll do any better than the crack head....Remember a guy called Billy Joe Harrell or was it Billy Bob??? Anyway he won 31 million dollars in the Texas lottery....goggle that sad sad story

True, but I'll take bets on the hard working family over the crack head any time. Sudden money does not solve substance abuse problems other personal problems, it can actually exacerbate those problems.

How do you blow 1 billion dollars in a few years?

From the advertised jackpot, you can figure that minus annuity, minus taxes, you keep about 1/3 of that.

So from a few hundred million, if you waste it on a bunch of houses in the 30-50M range, multiple 1M+ parties, gambling, vice, etc., you pretty much spent it all. Then the recurring expenses eat you up. Among the super rich, a few hundred mil ain't a lot. If you try to live like a billionaire when you are not, you have only yourself to blame.

Blowing money, giving money away, buying things you don't need, buying cars you don't drive, houses you don't live in, taking trips you won't remember...Green laugh

By thinking no matter what you do that you will always have money....Everything comes to and end....but in this instance it's up to you how long it will last

I could blow a billion in a day easy.  Just give 999 other LP members a million each. Lol

Seriously, estate homes, yachts, private jets, and fleets of exotic cars would cause one to burn through that kind of money in 3-5 years.

I think that we are going to see concurrent billion $ jackpots between MM and PB.  It's been too hard to win lately.  States like California, New York, Maryland, and Illinois can't even win.

The option, "One winning ticket, one owner of the ticket" has the most votes by far with 14 votes. Tied for second are, "I hope a lottery pool with 5 or more people win" and "4 winning tickets, the JP gets split 4 ways" with 5 votes each.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the poll.

Green laughAhh man, you beat me to it.

This may be the first time that you and Ronnie agree on something, but in this case you're both wrong. One winner would be unlikely, but definitely not impossible. Even another rollover would be possible.

As for my preferences, that's an easy one. One winner: me.

Never underestimate the power of stupidity. It would be difficult for most people to squander that much, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who are up to the challenge.
