...or an oppossum in the roof!!!

L.L.

We have lots of roof dwelling creatures in AZ. They eat oranges and live in the attic spaces.

    what does he do?

Ha ha ha. Well, if it can find a breech in your roof structure, it'll make itself at home there. Just like teen-agers, they're in and out all night keeping you up and breaking your sleep. They're very noisy and troublesome! Then, the worse part is that they'll breed and have more of them doing the same thing!! God forbid if any of 'em die up there and you have to dig 'em out!!

Years ago, I live in my grandfather's old house which he had built by a friend. It wasn't the best by far, but it was a decent house and served its' purpose. It had many flaws, one of which was a roof with a bad breech...hence my remark.

Same as every year, just keep fighting til its out....

Heart breaking news that the fire fighters took that kind of a risk over the kind of fire that happens routinely every year around this time. Home owners and volunteers should be more prepared and ready every year for this but for some reason they never know what to do or how to handle the situation. My son has family up there and he met a lady yesterday that was given an hour to leave her house and 15 minutes later it was on fire because of wind shifts. The town is mostly gone now, Yarnell that's about 25 miles north of Wickenburg.
