The section where the numbers are sorted and the total adds up to 40.

I corrected an error in 1 of the formulas.

These both have NY4 Midday only selected, with a last draw of 8/18/13 – 0383.

Ok, I figured out why the difference.

            1.  Go to the Tab labeled "DrawHistory"

            2.  Click cell R1.  You should see the number "2".  To the right you should see a drop-down arrow.  Click the drop-down arrow and select the number 1 from the list.  Remember these are always 40 draw increments.

The reason I put this here is so that you can back test using previous draws.  So in cell range Q6 through W16 you can see the calculations change when you also change the value in cell R1.  The 1 in cell R1 represents the most current draw 0383.  If you change R! to a 2 you would be skipping 0383 and use draw 9990 from 8/17/2013.

The other thing I wanted to point out is that you can also change the sequence of draws using cells W1, W2, W3, W4.  Currently I have it set to G-F-E-D.

The "G" represents cell column "G" or Position 4.

The "F" represents cell column "F" or Position 3.

The "E" represents cell column "E" or Position 2.

The "D" represents cell column "D" or Position 1.

So currently I'm using Position 4 as the last number drawn which is the digit "3" Position 4 from the 8/18/2013 drawing  0383.

You can change the order to D in cell W1, E in cell W2, F in cell W3, and G in cell W4 where it would be Position 1, Position 2, Position 3, Position 4.

I may have briefly touched on this in the Youtube Video.

That was it!  Thank you.  I have the same settings with the G-F-E-D, I didn't change anything there since so far I'm merely using the digit count and not so much the positioning.  I know I'll be back with questions once I start messing around with that!  I'll be watching that video again ...

              Thank you.

Libra Dave donated 2 (7) digit wheels and I added them to this new file Version 3

I also added the option of creating a up to total of 30 sets in the DrawHistory Tab.

This is GREAT ... because rather than bother you again to add 2 more lines, I changed one from the custom sets I gave you earlier ... which is how the straight came into play!

The both of you are FANTASTIC!!!

                    Thank you again.

P.S. Now I will have to pay attention to positions, skips and digits "due" ... etc.  There will be no excuse for missing the hits with these extra sets!

I added another Libra Dave suggestion or 2.

Addded 6 Best Boxed Pairs based on the Hit Index and also added a Key Digit

In the DrawHistory tab in cell range AF40 through AK40 you should see 6 of the best pairs to include in your sets.

Also in cell AM40 you should see the Key Digit to include also.  Even though there is only 1 key digit in cell AM40 you need to check if there may be a second key digit.  To find the key digit(s) go to cell range B5.  Take this value in cell B5 and search in cell range B7 though B16 for any values that match the value in cell B5.  Then look in cell range C7 through cell C16 for the corresponding digt.  For example, in cell B5 you should see the value 5.  You will notice that the 5 appears in cells B7 and B16.  The corresponding cells C7 = 0 and C16 = 9.  so in this case the Key Numbers would be 0 and 9.  Somethimes you may have 1 or 2 Key Numbers.  I'm using the New York evening only draws with the last drawing date being August 18, 2013.

You can change the draws by clicking cell P20 in the DrawHistory tab.  The 20 indicate the line number on the extreme left column of the workbook where you see the letters A through the last letter.  So the 20 corresponds to the draw date August 18, 2013.  If you click inside cell P20 you will see adrop-down arrow to the immediate right of cell P20.  Click the drop-down arrow and select 21.  The 21 would change the current drawing from August 18, 2013 to the previous drawing of August 17, 2013.  This will enable you to go back and either practice using the charts (skips & hits), key numbers, boxed pairs, etc.   Make sure you reset P20 to 20 so that you are working with the most current drawing.

Here is the download link to the updated Excel file to the RickG Pick 4 Wheeling Excel file version 3:

I will definitely try it!  So check this out ...

                        From my earlier post

Based on my updated stats and slight modification to the letter (again) I could have had a straight in NY today:

                        1

                        8923

                        2

                        2307

                        3

                        7923

                        4

                        4923

                        5

                        1923

                        6

                        7849

                        7

                        5521

                        8

                        2491

                        9

                        2310

                        10

                        4811

                        11

                        6574

                        12

                        5741

                        8/19 - 2307 (mid) STR
                                - 7894 (eve) BOX

My only issue is that this output is from using the midday stats ... would I have played them in the evening?   Probably not, unless there was some overlap ... I didn't get a chance to workup the evening #s before the draw.  Nonetheless it looks extremely promising ...

                        We shall see ...

The 6 Best pairs for evening were 44,78,55,48,47,15.  The Key digits were 0 and 9  So the 78, 48 and key digi 9.
