The game started back in the nineties and now has four drawings a week.  It's close to 3800 but I'm sure as a premium member the exact information is at your finger tips.

Thanks   RJOh

Quite honestly, this is a no brainer. The less the numerical range of any game, the higher the repeatability of single numbers and the respective combinations thereof. This is (1-39) which is very similar to Texas' Cash 5 with a (1-37) field. Granted, these are still  large fields but still small compared to Mega and PB fields. This is also why the top payout is structured very different (low) as many people will win a prize while the top prize will also be won fairly frequently compared to MM's and PB as well.

If the top prize for this game were increased to 1M while not adjusting the matrix at all, keeping it at (1-39), the amount of people playing would increase dramatically and you'd have a top prize winner every draw. The total amount of combos would nearly be purchased for each draw...which would be the key. This is also why the payouts on the Pick games are as they are...1000 combos is nothing to max out and thousands of people hit boxed while the str8 hits are much less. I'm still boggled with how folks think that a person cannot intentionally hit str8 with  reasonable consistency on the Pick games.

      L.L.

Ohio Rolling Cash5(5/39) which is one of the five games I track with 3240 past drawings has had ten combinations repeat.

If one had started playing all its previous combinations from the beginning 10/04/04 and continued doing so until yesterday 01/02/14, they would have spent $5,247,180.00 and won part or all of ten jackpots along with 598,500 smaller prizes worth $1,550,074.00.

Winning jackpot numbers have been showing up again recently for MI Fantasy 5. What are the odds of that happening? Do you smell something fishy? Just curious what ya'll think...

These two drawings are over a year apart.  I don't suspect a thing.

After all, Michigan uses RNG for their numbers and no one in Michigan is crooked enough to rig the computer.

"What are the odds of that happening?"

Since the game started considerably more than 3000 of the roughly 575,000 possible combinations have  been drawn as of 12/31/13. Call it 1 winning combination for every 180 possible combinations. That menas that every time thye have a drawing there's about a 1 in 180 chance of repeating a previously drawn combination. That means we should expect it to happen about twice a year.

By the end of 2014 they'll have drawn more than 3500 of the combinations, and the chances for a repeat will be up to about 1 in 165 for the first drawing in 2015.

Nobody won so it rolled to $655K, if I hadn't plan to play Classic Loto(6/49) at $56.8M I would be playing it.

I drove all the way up to Ohio and played that Classic Lotto the last time it had rolled for a long time and got really big.

                      Didn't win a thing.

                      So obviously...it's rigged.

Rdgrnr, don't you know the computers search for the least played combination and choose that one as the winning numbers? That's why it's rolled so high. LOL.

If it chose the least played combinations then someone would have won, so far it's choosing combinations that aren't played at all so no one is winning.

Would your combinations eventually won something if you had played them longer?
