How is it 3000 possibles. When its only 1000 total in the pool. Smh

There is no way to make 3000 different 3 digit numbers

You're right, the actual figure is 768 possible combos. I did the math when I was drunk and stoned.

Example: 123-132-321-312

Splinter is claiming that a winner can be claimed even if one of those combos above doesn't show because he also plays mirrors and mirrors with the original number, like 123 and 128, the 8 being the mirror of 3. But since he doesn't show which combos he changes into mirrors and which ones he keeps as the original number, 123 has 8 possible combinations when you introduce mirrors.

123-mirror=678, to play both you have to play the 8 combos below.

123-128-173-178-623-628-673-678

So for each version of 123, (123-132-321-312) there are 8 possible combos.. That's 32 combinations per line. There are 24 lines.

32x24=768 possible combinations. But he doesn't show what specific 100 or 168 combos he claims he ONLY uses. What he DOES do is show a winner after the draw, and says..SEE!, A WINNER!

If he shows the 100 or 168, or whatever amount he claims he plays, and one or more of those combos shows, then I'd be impressed.

At 768 combos, he's covering over 75% of the total combinations. DUH !

A interesting and unique lottery story, I'm surprised it wasn't covered in the LP news.

OMG.   LOTS OF NUMBERS.

Yes they are.

Imagine i claimed I had a system with one up and one down as the workout. I post 96 combos, and then claim a winner after the draw, explaining that it was a winner because one number up, on the first position created a winner. lol

Example:

123-132-321-312 (764 more combinations not shown here)

Winner: 124. YAY!, a winner!!!!!!!!!

Observer: wait a minute, 124 is not a winner.

onlymoney: But I don't play all 768 combinations, only between 100 and 168, give or take, and one of them was a "One-up" on 123, so I won with 124.

Observer: But you didn't show you were playing 124 with only about a hundred combos, what are the actual combos you play?

onlymoney: *Crickets*

Observer: Hello, anyone out there?

onlymoney: (shows more examples of wins later that day using 768 possible combos as another victory and proof)

Observer: But wait.....Can you address the issue i bring up about the math?

onlymoney: *avoids questions and points brought up*

Observer: HELLO !

onlymoney: I don't have to prove anything to you. My intention was not to explain my system. Just believe me that I chiose the correct numbers and congratulate me. Don't confuse me and my clueless fans about the math, you may wake some of them up to my deceptive system.

Observer: but hold on, your math, etc....

onlymoney: *crickets*

onlymoney fans: Great job dude. I believe you, don't pay attention to the negative observer guy.

Observer: Hangs himself with a nylon reinforced rope with the nearest tree he finds.

This is scary. I cannot believe this was published, although I recall that in recent months, they discovered that a computer had randomly generated articles and they got cleared by peer review.

First, his "theory" is nothing new (it's actually a fallacy), and his website appears to be from 2001 (if we are to believe the footer)

Second, he cites himself in 2 of the 5 references in his paper. That's a big red flag.

Third, what are his credentials to be "mathematician"? I see Sao Pablo university listed, but not a degree or even a position in the math department.

Finally, his idea is basically choosing combinations that come from a pool of numbers that consist of a subset of combinations. Similar to what I was discussing the other day in jimmy's thread. If you visit his website and type in a set of numbers, it will spit out the probability of occurring....but the key here is that it is the probability of a combination that is made using those numbers...not the combination itself which you inputted.

In other words, it's complete bunk. If I use the combination 40-41-42-43-44-45 and the highest number available is 45 then of course the probability of occurrence using those numbers is low....there's only 1 combination! On the other hand, if I choose a mix of numbers, there are more combinations that can be made, which makes it seem like you have a better chance. But that's a fallacy! It does not improve your chances in any fashion. Only 1 combination is drawn and only 1 wins, which means I have 1 out of the total combinations available of a chance of winning. It doesn't matter which numbers I choose or how I mix them. The only way to increase chances of winning is to increase the number of different combinations played....aka buy more tickets.

Looks like another case of "this looks interesting, let's run the article without fact checking" on the part of several media outlets.

Desperate people will try anything and there are lots of deperate lottery players coming to LP looking for easy ways to win a jackpot.

I checked out this color theory with the local Classic Lotto game(6/49) and found using different colors applied to each decade of numbers would result in 175 different color combinations with the most popular one being five colors that occurred 36 times covering only 3% of the past winning combinations.

Thats an interesting theory.  I dont think I qualify as one of those lottery desperate.

Although at one time I was a little liberal with my money.

I would say I am perhaps one of the lottery disparate.

What variable was coded pink?

Thats always the hot color in my Lottery Master Guide.

I am very NOT impressed by your psuedo-skills. Until your hit ratio is better than LimpDildo360, I dont see any reason to believe anything you have to say.

Your long winded set of pseudo scientific numbers makes me want to kiss Noise-Gate.

At least he is affording evidence in his posts that he is a knowledgeable human being.

You just look like a Cash4ninja I love cash3, butt buddy.

You are beyond dense.

I am sorry but I am not into homosexual lotto programs.

The only time I enjoy homosexual lotto programs, is when ONLYMONKEY, has the lube.  He is a very learned lubed individual.

(Not that there is anything wrong with that). Jerry Seinfield quote.  (ICYDK)

Oh man thats a great tweet abbreviation.  I hope my stock goes up ten bucks!!!

All this rainbow lotto gayness, makes me feel like I am in a Stanley Kubrick movie.
