lol, my mom used to get them for me when I was  TWEEN! lol

My grandmother read them many years ago and we would look for copies at yard sales for her. She could remember every single one she ever read from looking at the cover. RIP Granny.

      Ridge is good people.

Since those who have tried to post links that refute this statement have had their efforts deleted,
perhaps you could at least post some that support it.

Amen Mike. And a lot of us appreciate it when someone stands up for themselves and others. I think we all know someone in our lives or a co-worker, acquaintance, etc. who will tell you what a "good person" they are and how they "like" everybody....but then these same people are never in any ones corner and never extend themselves for anyone or anything. I think a lot of people forget Revelation and numerous places where it says it is better to be hot or cold vs lukewarm. These are the people with true character.

In spite of those who forget that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all,

I still am hopeful that rdgrnr is ok and just taking a break from LP.

Rdg is my favorite.  I cannot believe all the bs some of you cowards post when one is not here to defend themselves.  Not that he needs it but I will, Rdg is a stand up and honest guy.  He is one of a few who tell it like it is and doesnt back down.  He has more supporters and friends than the detractors.

Sad that talking crap about another is the highlight of your life.

Hmm...maybe Ridge moved and is settling in.

Perhaps that news article about the guy moving from the Franklin Tenn area to Grand Rapids Mich was about Ridge?

MAN-O-MAN!!!. This thread has taken a life of its own, and not for the better. An LP member is MIA, and we have no clue why{at least the people that know are not talking}. If he is on VACATION, we should wish him happy RR, if he is SICK, we should pray for him and wish he gets well soon. On the other hand, if he is DEAD{God forbid, but death is inevitable regardless}, we should let him RIP. All this back and forth about the makeup of the man is, to put it mildly, premature and unnecessary. He could be  "The Grand Dragon" or "Mother Theresa" or something better or worse. At this juncture, it is all irrelevant until we know what his situation really is. When and if he comes back, that will be the appropriate time to slobber all over him, or shoot poisonous arrows at him figuratively speaking. In the meantime, in the interest of decorum, it might be prudent to tone it all down, just a bit. We are slowly but surely sowing little seeds of division amongst ourselves, allowing our emotions to override our better judgement without even realizing it. Lets all take a deep breath even briefly just for now and wish that "Ridge" is alive and well. There will be plenty of time in the future, to engage in verbal jiu-jistu or lavish verbal bouquet of flowers on one another, when we know exactly what's really going on.

The MM jackpot for today is $115M. Hope you all did not forget to purchase your winning ticket. Good luck to all.
