At \$1 per line I'm pretty sure you can play 15 lines for 15 bucks. If you do it 15 times it will cost you \$225.

the 15 bucks sounds the go, i mean you are guaranteed the pb for \$X return on \$15, or 1+pb for \$X return on  225.

Yeah just wanted to be sure I understood what was being suggested as to how to play this...

Yikes...So how much would that cost?

It would be expensive at \$225, but all 75 numbers are paired with each of the 15 bonus numbers.

Maybe I will try it when I get the income tax...This will also give me time to come up with the number scheme...

Been there, done that!  This is a bad idea, just stick with what you have been doing.  Doing this you are guaranteed to win just a \$1.00.  Don't start something that you can not do long, long, hell of a long time, YEARS!

Do you think you could have do any better just playing 15 lines randomly?

Playing 15 random lines gives you the same long term probability as playing 15 lines using each of the mega balls. The possibility of not matching the mega ball at all is offset by the possibility of matching it multiple times. If you do either one for a year you'll play 1560 tickets. One way you're guaranteed to win at least \$1 104 times. The other way you should expect to win at least \$1 on 1 of every 15 tickets, which is also 104 times.

An advantage of playing all 15 megaballs is not needing to play megaplier, since match 5 will also be a guaranteed jackpot win.

While some may be thinking what about the other 14 plays, multiplying those won't help much due to payout caps (buried in the fine-print that often is nowhere to be found on many state lottery sites). Match 5 base prize can be well under \$1 million in some instances. In theory, one could win an additional \$70 million by buying megaplier for all of them, but the reality is one may only win an extra \$10 million when it's all said and done. Still not bad, but better to save the additional \$15 and put that towards another line.

Yep, I go board on the mega balls each drawing I play MM.  It guarantees a win of some sort, so why not?

When eliminating MM number groups, the 70s counted as 1 group, the rest 1-9,10-19, etc. you can choose at least 3, looks like 4 is the norm in the last 25 draws, and while the 70s are a small group, look at the draws with 5 groups out!

Last draws is 1st:  4-4-4-5-4  4-4-4-5-4  5-4-4-4-5  4-4-4-3-3  4-4-4-4-5

Make 3-5 tickets or what your budget allows from the kept groups, maybe 1 or 2 other tickets that might include a few numbers from the eliminated groups mixed in with some of the other groups.

Checked Power Ball, the last 17 games: 9 had 2 groups out, 5 had 3 groups out, 3 had 1 group out.

Tonight-4 groups out!  18 21 25 28 29 16 2x pending results

KO57, i am confused by what you mean by 4-4-4-5-4. Are you saying the number groups are all in the 40's and one in the 50's . Can you simplify your method so i can understand you correctly. Are you saying the first line four groups of numbers were left out, second line 4 groups left out etc.
