Well, somebody's winning.  I'd love to say Sum Buddy's winning, fingers crossed!    Wink

I just discovered on the Lottery Results page for Florida (here on LP) if you scroll down, you can find the results for last year's raffle.  Click on "See Complete List,"  and you can see the results for all of Florida's Raffles.  I'm gonna check that out later...

Ticket seems to be in the 70k range now. I purchased two today, one in the 64k and one in the 69k range. I have a total of 9 tickets, and I'm going to leave it at that.

Wishing everyone from the LP fam the best of luck!

I won one time back in 2008 when they first did it I believe. I won $500, the most I've ever won from the Fla lottery ever. Haven't won anything since in subsequent raffles though. I remember going to Albertsons to cash it in and they were surprised I had won lol.

I bought 10 tickets last year, and didn't win a single penny. I also bought 10 tickets for the one in 2012 and also did not win a single penny. I've bought 1 ticket so far and with my luck I don't plan on buying much more than maybe just one more...maybe. I think losing with one ticket bought will sting a lot less than having bought 10 tickets lol. Best of luck to everyone!

Sweet BuyLow I hope you win something more than what you end up spending on all the raffle tickets. I think I may purchase 2 or 3 at most. One in the beginning and one near the end.

I bought a raffle ticket in the 89k range earlier today.

I'd estimate 2 days tops before it reaches first 100k sales. It wouldn't surprise me if it hit 100k tomorrow. I'm curious as to if, and how sales will be impacted after the first 100k incentive instant win incentive is gone.

If it hits 100,000 in sales tomorrow, ticket sales will have averaged 5,900 per day over a 17-day period.

The 2015 Raffle saw an average of 7,200 per day in the first 18 sales days.  So the early sales volume hasn't increased over last year.  I think Florida Lottery is hanging their hat on the longer sales period to effect a sellout.

It will be interesting to see what happens to sales volume once the instant win possibility expires.

A friend of mine was in FL last week.  I asked her to pick me up a few. I have 5, they were bought on the 9th and are in the 56k range. Just sent my grandma who lives on the treasure cost  $40 today for 2 more. That'll be it for me. I also have 3 idaho holiday raffle tickets and will buy 2 more. They sell a max of 250k tickets for $10 each  and only have ONE  1million  dollar winner 2 $10k winners and some $250 & $25 winner's . Idaho sells out every year.

But even for double the price i like FL raffle payout a lot more

I think the lottery folks tried to time it that once the instant win possibility expires, it will be within a few days from the first drawing which should bring more people in.  After the first drawing, the subsequent drawings happen every 6 days to maintain excitement.  It was well planned to use the instant win gimick to draw sales in the first few weeks until the drawings start up.

With that said, I have 5 tickets now.  I'll buy 1 or 2 for each drawing.  I think I'll buy 5-10 on the last night since it seems like the high end raffle numbers end up winning at least one top prize.

Apparently they didn't do a great job of timing it as the first draw isn't until the 29th.  Good luck to all!!
