Don't let the odds betray you, the negative odds and probability are two different things-
Bottom Line: Although a Point of Numeric Certainty doesn't exist, Happily a Certain degree is often achievable

The player, if serious, must determine what is acceptable for them in terms of money (profit) and wins through trail, error, and balance. Here's where I said the exact same thing back in 2016 in a similar thread:
So, what the player is actually left with and faced with is how much of a profit are they willing to accept during the course of playing and a hit. Once a player develops a system that works for them and keeps them out of the red, they have settled on a profit they can deal with...period.
*Constantly seeking will constantly present new ideas, methods, and interests for playing which all come via LoA...Law of Attraction. I'm firm believer in this.
Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....

I like coming up with my own systems for draw games, though I imagine that in most cases, the systems I use are not at all new or original, since there are only so many possible approaches, and I am sure that there have been thousands of people before me each time, many of whom probably had the same ideas.
But I like the process, itself, anyway. It extends the entertainment value of draw games by quite a bit for me. First in coming up with systems I want to use, then in using said-systems to come up with some sets I want to play, then in updating my information, as well as seeing how close or not I get with a drawing, etc.
Even if it is only an illusion of sorts, that I am increasing my chances, it's still pretty fun.

You had previously mentioned that "players can win, if game providers, will let them"
How true, " if the games were unbeatable the providers would not need countermeasures" - coin
Note Bene:
Caveat, after player finally reaches a positive Return On Investment (R.O.I.) by over coming the odds the next major hurdle is overcoming the casino reactions (any game provider). "Never give a sucker an even break" mentality is a commonly shared attitude in the gaming biz. In brief the corporate thinking is, they are providing an attractive entertainment called gambling in which the patron is dealt a losing hand i.e negative odds and not a money making proposition. Therein if a customer develops, as LuckyLoser says, some out of the box methodology or secret system of defeating the game odds in the long run R.O.I. then patron is not gambling because his expectation has turned positive & casino expect negative. They may smile & say 'winner, winner chicken dinner' LoL but if the table hold has turned negative because of your participation then something has gone wrong with their game. As they examine the video game playback they record the player, if found cheating with or without croupier collusion, they will have your arrested; if not cheating & even if *player is wearing a halo over their head they will be vigorously opposed & discouraged from playing further. In any case they will deny the player the ability to make the property his personal bank for withdrawals
This is what happened to eminent Professor Edward O. Thorp when he effectively turned the tables with his "Beat The Dealer" program & book that made Vegas change the rules of the game.
Bye the Bye the winner will be the video reality star as the private detective agency will circulated pic ID to all national & international subscribers
That's my personal alert summary Caveat after 25years @ gaming ground zero for all who 's ambition is winning the 'Golden Apple' it won't be easy pickings ,but still possible. As 1% win at the green felt jungle & 2% sports/racing book, small percentage but over millions of players the subtotal number is astonishingly impressive.

Nota Bene:
In addition to the code breaking black Jack Professor Thorp above, yet another non criminal gentleman who Anthony Curtis respected gaming author & publisher to the public of " 'How To Play the games Effectively, etc" became high profile because he was, as a hands on playing author, winning $50,000 & $100,000t a time playing two tournament in a row. How do you explain that, lucky numbers will just go so far. The casino reacted by making Curtis quickly became persona non grata thus barred from further playing.
REALITY CHECK:
So they beat the game with legal wit, intelligence and out of the box methodologies that overcame the odds but could not overcome the game providing casinos. But nobody dared asked asked them to return the monies $$$$
