I have also heard, although I have never stepped foot in a casino, that you can only beat a roulette wheel by exploiting an advantage play; such as exploiting a biased wheel or ‘clocking’ a wheel. Anyone ‘beating’ or winning at a fair game of roulette is in the words of most ‘smart’ people is just lucky. But I suppose I must out if respect salut your thoughts and ideas on tackling the probabilities of the jackpot games; as they are much different and harder.

Sometimes you do the right thing just because it’s right.

Life's a game of mathematics, if you can't figure that out I don't know what to tell you.

not exactly... I would do it in a different way... 8 consecutive draws make it one full round as 6x8=48 with just one remaining number being a "joker"...in accordance with normal statistical density distribution there are likely to be 33 unique numbers in those 8 consecutive draws with about 22 of them playing once and 11 playing more than once... every time whenever you have to play in the next draw it would make sense to count and analyse those already played numbers in 7 previous draws and to make a projection for the incoming next draw based on this formula...

aint "normal statistical distribution" its called -just goog ion salius paradox.. this place is about lottery so a better question would refer to unique combos in lotto.. if you generate randomly all combs in lotto: 63% are unique 37% are repeats.. but you shouldnt expect exact numbers like in your op.. how bout pick3 there are about 370 repeated sets and around 630 uniques.. there is formula for that when n tends to infinity: DC = 1 — (1 / e) the limit is 0.63212… 63% is pretty good 4me….

percentages and percentage points are good only whenever we're dealing with larger quantities of something... in the lotteries we normally deal with a limited set (field) of numbers and no fractions as well... therefore 1/3 : 2/3 ratio is already good enough for practical use in the game...

Enlighten us , I see words like 'either, more than twice and also possible' in your answer. Maybe you can use a flow chart for the average person to understand. In my opinion the used words depicts a range rather than a discrete parameter, there is no measure of certainty.

Question:

In your book you use 8 draws per round for the CA539 Fantasy 5 game. If a game matrix is 5/30 such as the Pennsylvania Treasure Hunt do we still use the 8 draws per round?

Of course the "2/3" rule calculations would be different for a 5/30 game.

the answer is quite obvious indeed... statistical distribution is exact whenever it's being applied to large numbers or cam be calculated in percentages... because only then percentage points can be used... however the game field in the lotto is limited and we deal in practice only with whole numbers... therefore it would be more correct to say that in certain percent of occurrences the result will deviate from normal distribution...

thanks...

sure I'm thinking about it... however, just a simple and basic software I already don't need... it makes no sense fixing it at some intermediate point... I would rather prefer digging into the issue deeper and develop something more sophisticated... but for more complex stuff I need a good programmer whom I couldn't find so far...
