Recently, I've been thinking that I need to take my number picking strategy to the next level....
Man! Listen to me! What a worn out over used statement that is! And can it even be done???
I've somewhat regularly won lower tier prizes this year - I've won 19 three baggers since January 1st. That probably isn't all that great. My thinking is that my approach to number picking needs some work as it's probably too shot gun...by that I mean it's scattered all over the place. I think I probably need more discipline with picking numbers to up my game and win more often than I have.
One thing I'm thinking about is that I should pay attention to two things I don't usually think about when picking numbers to play. They are what position on the line is that number in, and how many numbers I pick from. Usually I pick from a pool of 18 out of the 36 FF5 numbers, but tonight I picked from a pool of 22!
Is the number I picked in the position where it has hit most often over the life of FF5? For example, #28 has hit the most in position #4, but on a few lines I played for tonight I have it in position #3. On another line on my ticket I have it in position #5...What was I thinking when I did that????
And is 18 numbers too many? I dunno .
Gotta slow down and think when I'm picking them. Even that might not help. My software tells me many things. Some facts are useful and good to know while other stats dont amount to a hill of beans. They might be oddball interesting facts, but as far as picking numbers for tonight, they're useless. A perfect example of that is there have been 61 times when a set of five winning numbers was drawn twice. Interesting but useless information when picking your numbers. G5
