  The Powerball jackpot jumped ahead to $207 million. Now the question is, will Mega Millions catch up in the next draw. Or will this be the first time in this run, the Mega Millions jackpot is not ahead after a Mega Millions draw.

  Honestly, I think more people are buying Powerball tickets to avoid Mega Millions since MM increased the price to $5.

  Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings.  They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed.  And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

  If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

  People can talk about strategies and gimmicks all they want, but unless your ticket actually matches at least 5 of those 6 balls, you are just another person who tried to win a game yet ultimately failed.

  I got my Friday MM ticket and scored a 2X.

  I don't know what happened but this time it hit me different.

  Felt that if all am getting is 2X, I can as well play PB with power play for $3 and if I win second prize I will have 2M for $3 instead of 2M for $5.

  Same here man! @Hit different. I was like. This is a regular occurrence. Constantly getting 2x. Then I was thinking. They should've left it alone. And just added an extra days draw. Like pb. Have it three times a week. 🤷‍♂️ Good luck though. 🤞 💰 🍀 😎

  The Mega Millions jackpot is $202 million; $5 million less than the Powerball jackpot. This is the first time in this run, the Mega Millions jackpot was less than the Powerball jackpot after a Mega Millions draw. Powerball is clearly proving to be the stronger performer in this race.

  I have been watching the race and this was the time for Mega Millions to show its strength and it came up short.  I have yet to buy a MM ticket since the change because I notice the 5X and 10X are rare draws.  I never play scratch offs but for $5.00 it might be the better deal at this point.

  I agree, a $5 scratch-off is a better deal (or 2 PB tickets with $1 leftover).

  It's not to be unexpected that multipliers of 5X and 10X are rare. MM never claimed that 2X, 3X, 5X and 10X are all equally likely. The probabilities are published.
