I will probably play when the CASH VALUE is at $500,000,000 +. Haven't purchased a ticket since 12/26/24.

Had to go back and check my records. My last MM purchase was Dec 20.

Haven't played since the change. And I will not buy a ticket. Their jackpot progression can just continue to crawl along, without me....

No haven't & won't play new MM. CA Fantasy 5 is really fun for what it is. Way better odds.

no, the management wanted to be smart ass and tried to coax the public to buy expensive mega million lottery tickets

I like how the jackpot estimate amount is such a whole number 100,000,000.

It's so clean, I will throw my $5 at it.

Speaking of CA Fantasy 5 we got a good one tonight. Over 300K jackpot. 1 in 575,757. I will take 5 lines of Fantasy 5 over 1 line of MM.

MM increase since the $50 Million restart; Up $10M, up $10M, up $10M, up $10M, up $10M..... At least they are consist under the new remake.

PB increase since the $20 Million restart; Up $10M, up $14M, up $10M, up $11M, up $17M.... Almost brings a tear to ones eye. Spend 2 or spend 5 ? Best of luck with your choices.

Exactly! I guarantee if it was still a buck. It would be higher. They really screwed the pooch on this. I play my same number. Every draw. And I don't care if the jackpot is a gazillion dollars I'm not buying any extra!

I wish we had a game like that in Colorado.

We have Cash 5, which is $1 and odds of winning 1 in 200,000, but the jackpot is only 20 grand.

We also have Colorado Lotto+, but that one is $2 and odds of winning 1 in 3.8 million.

What I want is a $1 game with reasonable odds of winning and an accumulating jackpot that can reach 200 grand. Cash 5 is only a tenth of that amount and does not grow with sales.

I'm sure MM was prepared for more of the minimum $10 million jackpot increases under the new rules. MM is gambling that with fewer tickets being sold, the chances that someone will win will be low enough for the game to survive. They are banking on the jackpot increasing for a long time and then they'll get a rush of sales, which pushes up the jackpot even higher. At $5/ticket, this is a very profitable enterprise for every state that is a member of this game as long as people do buy tickets, even if it's not as many as before.

The only way they're screwed is if far fewer tickets get sold and someone is really really lucky and wins it, and they end up paying out more in the jackpot than what they collected in sales. Right now, too many people are buying $5 tickets for that to happen.

I was curious on the last "new matrix" change & how that affected the jackpot progression starting on 10/31/2017...See the below aspect

Didn't see consistent 10's there. What I did see is in the first 5 draws was an average of up $11 Million. The current Jackpot of $100 Million after 5 draws is only $5 Million higher than the jackpot of $95 Million back on 11/17/17. The one $$ difference was this MM jackpot restarted at $50M and the jackpot back then restarted at $40M. Yes, I am aware of the odds reduction from 302M back to 290M. Obviously the odds back then did not affect the sales. Time and adjustment for the dedicated MM players will be an enjoyable opportunity to watch. Good luck to all
