We need at least 60 people to have a true chance of finding the solution in time (before the next draw). With 60 people participating, may estimation is that in 1 per 3to5 tries, 1 computer will come up with the solution in time.

I don't like it when the automatic update program runs on my computer and slow me down let alone some lottery program that might take days to come up with some results.  It takes the lottery all of 30 secs. to pick and post their random results and it shouldn't take a computer IMHO more than 15 mins. to pick some numbers that are no more likely to win than those of a RNG.  I'll just stand on the side lines and watch and see what happens.  Good luck to you.

50 new PCs in a render farm might not be a bad investment anyway...

how exactly does this work... output from the program on the desktop or all behind the scenes? If you felt like killing time, you could watch SETI@Home do it's thing... What's the theory? same one as lotto sync?

might drum up more interest in exchange for more tech info...

I wonder if the pick 3 forum might be a better place to drum up some theory discussion...

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.
